I picked this up to use for fishing poles and mainly to attach to my tripod for shooting competitions. It makes for a super quick and easy tripod sling that stays put.

I usually take 3 poled, a heavy catfish rig, medium lure rig, and light panfish setup. I can strap all 3 together and go. Lets me hike them in much easier and keeps my hands freed up. Great system and value.

When I go fishing, I like having both hands free. I am the type of active fishing person who likes to go explore all the trails around a lake, impoundment, river, creek or stream.This is a very cheap rig which keeps the rods slung around the shoulder. This keeps hands free to allow for climbing up and down rocks, bushes and trails. Also, now that I have gotten older, I use trekking sticks to get me around the obstaclesNothing fancy here. Just a strap with some swivels, pads, and lots of velcro!

DONQL Fishing Rod Holder Belt, Durable Fishing Rod Carry Straps Adjustable Length 30-54 Inch: Good. Sometimes it slides a bit up and down, but just try secure it as tight as possible. Don't know how in world I ever fished without it before. BTW, I go telescopic. I think that's what it's made for.
