This sling is 100% more comfortable than one that hangs around your neck! I have lived in a sling for over 2 months and the neck strap version is insanely uncomfortable. Highly recommend this design!

Bought this after rotator cuff surgery. This is much better than one pulling on your neck!This was easy to adjust by myself. No problem with any straps or velcro.
I was not able to assemble it.

This was my 2nd surgery same arm/issue. The 1st time we used the typical neck/arm sling and I was miserable in my neck. I found this sling for my 2nd surgery. I really liked the concept because it didn't involve my neck.The reviews almost made me change my mind. I'm glad I bought it. The reviews of breaking the shoulder strap is crap. You have to adjust the shoulder piece under arm pit as close to your arm as possible then the proper distribution of pull is even. If you don't adjust and the rotating hinges are below breast and/or shoulder blade-- it will break!Proper adjustment is key!This is an EXCELLENT sling I have been wearing since December 2024 and will have to wear until March of 2025. I hope I never have to buy again. HahaI HIGHLY recommend this sling!

I purchased this product 1 week prior to my surgery, just to get a feel for the type of sling, and the quality. This sling and its bulster work great. It is very supportive, the waist belt helped prevent my shoulder and arm from moving in bed when your needing sleep. Rotator cuff s¨rgery sucks, butt throw in a torn deltoid, and biceps, and it’s a recipe for pain. Get this if your looking for help and support in your recovery;

I had rotator cuff surgery and the sling I went home with works good but puts pressure on my neck. So on long days my neck is killing me. I bought this one and it works great and no strap against my neck. So I use this one when I'm out all day at work or just out of my house for the day. It takes time to get it adjusted. So have someone help with the final adjustments to get it perfectly adjusted.

I had shoulder surgery a year ago, and it failed so I recently had a do-over. The first time I used a standard sling that anchors on your neck as someone with hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome that caused me a world of neck pain. This time, with the approval of my surgeon I got this sling to help save my neck. For the first three weeks postop it worked great and I was happy. But over the past few days the Velcro adhesive that attaches to the front of the ring around my non-surgical arm has failed. I have used safety pins to secure it but will be seeking a replacement. 6 weeks is the typical need for a brace post-surgery, and this didn’t even last half that time. I expect more for the $180 I paid!! The main Velcro supporting your surgical arm should not fail like this!!!!! It seems they used some new-fangled Velcro that has very small loops to adhere and it is simply not up to the task. Very disappointing.

The whole concept of taking the stress off of your neck is great! I had rotator cuff repair, bicep work and cleaned up the shoulder joint itself. The sling the hospital sent me home with was so uncomfortable. I also had neck surgery a few years ago, so the hospital sling was pulling on my neck. It was so uncomfortable and it added to my shoulder pain. The DonJoy stress free sling took that stress off my neck. Unfortunately the sling had some mechanical issues. All of the straps are held on by velcro and plastic clips that click together. One of the key velcro “holders” on the sling wasn’t holding properly and it would come off. I ended up replacing the part with a couple of plastic rings from another sling I had and slipped the rings through the “ring” that goes around the non-surgical shoulder and it acted as a pulley. It worked!! I was so glad it worked because I didn’t want to have to order another one and go through the hassle of returning the defected sling. Just want to mention that I contacted the seller about the part. Connor did his best to help me solve the defective part issue. He communicated with me whenever I needed to touch base. He was going to send me a used part for the sling but I didn’t want to take the chance of it not working. He offered to send me a new one but it would have been a hassle going through Amazon again and due to time restraints I told Connor to forget about it. I’ll try and fix it myself. Connor is the best seller I’ve dealt with on Amazon. He will definitely try to solve whatever issue there is. Thank you so much Connor for all of your efforts. You were great! So, this is a great sling, the concept that is. You have to becareful of the velcro possibly not holding well at the chest, where it connects to the sling. I think the weight of the sling/arm puts too much pull on that velcro part at the chest. Since I fixed it without the velcro part it has worked great!Heal well everyone!🙏Elena

I researched many of this type before I bought it. It's been wonderful.I had full rotary cuff surgery and have also neck/back issues. So the wrap around the shoulder and under arm piece is just the BEST THING EVER. It puts no strain on your neck and it doesn't hurt under your arm.It's adjustable on the side strap(that attaches to the pillow support, the pillow has heavy velcro that attaches to arm sling.Very easy to remove when you dont need pillow. Also the strap on opposite side that goes under arm has 2 different velcro adjustables.It heavy duty and works great. 5 stars! plus the ball attaches to end so when you need for exercises its rightthere. I would recommend toeveryone to get this. Thanks for great product.
