Very happy with the heater! Most importantly, I like how I can adjust the temperature depending on the weather and fish’s needs!

Works great as long as you read and follow the instructions. I love that you can change the temperature and it comes with 2 suction cups there’s also a red light that lets you know it’s on

I bought this for my sons betta fish tank and the tank is acrylic and works great with that type of heater. The tank is 1 gallon and this heater fits perfectly length-wise and is adjustable. The part where you can adjust the temp at the top is very hard to turn at first... it seems to be becoming slightly easier, but I honestly thought I was either going to not be able to turn it down or have to use a wrench lol. Eventually, I was able to turn to the temp we needed. It also came with a thermometer to put on the inside of my tank which was great.

Product works great and keeps my little Betta happy. It was definitely worth the price. It is a little longer than I thought it would be but that's ok. The product is what it says.

This is a wonderful heater for $9. The only (which are minimal) - temp gauge seems a little off but I don’t know if it’s me or the instructions weren’t clear. When you turn the knob, it shows a number inside the circle , is they the current temp or next temp? I only ask, because I know what the obvious answer is, is because it did seem a couple degrees off the “circled” degree and more accurate to the next degree after the knob turn. I just use that rule as my guide “the degree in the circle is the next degree after a turn” . Which, yeah the knob is slightly hard to turn , but not too hard that you need to leave a one star review because you don’t have enough common sense to wash the grease/oil off your hands first or grab a (clean!) paper towel first. It’s not the knob, it’s the fact that the water (assuring you cycled and are filtrating correctly) are simulating natural water flow and pulling the oils and impurities from your skin, and what is not natural to natural water sources and it’s inhabitants is people sticking their gross hands in them and wondering why their fish died. And also, it’s a nine dollar heater. It’s perfect for the price.I’ve yet to get to my real question thought because I had to vent.😂Anyways, can I bury this in my substrate?

When this arrived, it worked great! The temperature went right to where I set it and kept the tank warm (78 degrees) for my betta fish. It's been about a month, and things have changed drastically... one morning I saw that my betta was a little bit laggy so I checked the temperature and it was in the 60's. The heater had turned off but I assumed maybe it was the outlet, so I plugged it in somewhere else and the light went back on. I left for a few hours and when I came back, the temperature was up in the high 80's and my betta had unfortunately passed on.I'm still fiddling with the heater to see if I can get it to work properly, but I can't even return it because it broke right after the return rate had passed (what a coincidence).Save yourself some trouble and don't get this. You'd be saving the life of your fish.
