Just as described, picture needs to be updated because of it poor perspective. A little bit of work required trying to install the plastic cog on the end spring, but all came together and works as an original part.Good price for an original part. 5 stars!

The item was a direct replacement part and fit perfectly. Instructions were clear and installation went smooth. This is a two or three person job. Follow the instructions especially when winding the spring tension. Great product.

This fit perfectly and was relatively easy to install. Hubs replaced the awning on our 2012 5th wheel. Well, he broke the original spring and ended up with an open fracture, several stitches and a pin in his hand. This is a relatively dangerous operation so make sure you watch every video you can, read everything you can on how to replace the spring!!! You can cause serious injury to yourself or someone else if you are not careful. I cannot emphasize this enough! We also discovered the screwdriver he used as a cotter pin in between our house and the neighbors. It flew OVER the top of our house and landed in the yard.
