Perfect fit, great price. If I took this to a dealer the part would have been (guessing) $130 plus an hour labor. I too me 5 minutes to install 4 3/4 of which were getting the rusty screws off so I could get the old one out.

Lost the last arm to a wind storm, and been looking for just this arm bit for some time. Only found it available with a full assembly, where they wanted almost as much as a whole new canopy for it. Having the option to get *just* this bit for a reasonable price, is super.

Pulling the broken assembly after removing 2 screws and sliding the new assembly in and replacing the screws took only a few minutes. Works great

I had been struggling to find a replacement for a lower awning arm that was no longer being sold due to a discontinuation of the product by the manufacturer. Dominican A&E lower arm for a Coachman model 848300402B was what I was looking for and was leery of ordering "compatible" parts because I could not get a confirmation of fit. I even considered just replacing the slider piece (which is what was broken) but its riveted so theres that. I measured the length of the arm, made sure there was the sliding end piece that I needed and took a chance. I ordered this and it worked like a dream! All i had to do was remove 2 holding screws on the end of the old one, slide the old one out of the upper arm and slide the new one in, replace the screws and Wallah, Done!!!! So happy so much anxiety for such a simple fix. THANK YOU!

We were a little worried about this as we could not find any part numbers specific to our 8 year old Dometic manual awning. After tons of research, comparing pics, and watching Youtube videos, I ordered a pair of these arms. We really didn't even know if we needed 1 or 2, but ordered the pair to be on the safe side. And, it seemed, after all my research, that these arms are a pretty common problem with this awning. They arrived quickly, were well packaged, and reasonable in price. We had already replaced our lower mounting bracket that was sheared off and that's when we discovered something wasn't quite right with one of the arms. Watching the youtube videos was the most helpful in figuring out how to install the new ones. Each side only took about 20 minutes, and of course the 2nd one went a little quicker than the 1st! Overall, a good choice, and we don't have to worry about the awning failing now while we are traveling. I am giving 5 stars to the product itself, but I was disappointed with the fact that there is so little information out there about finding the correct part to fit our specific awning, so shame on the manufacturer for that.

This is one of two parts needed to repair an upper arm on the awning. See my other review for other part. Quality and priced accordingly. You will need two of these and two of the other part to replace both upper arms. I think all 4 parts was around $175.
