This has been a HUGE upgrade over our RV's original plastic toilet. The height, the porcelain bowl, the soft-close seat, everything has been great. Be sure not to push the flush pedal all the way down or you will damage your valve over time, and/or you'll snap the pedal off the end of the shaft. Only push it enough to open the valve all the way and release the water from the bowl. It's not a big deal; just be gentle with your pedal and it will last many years. We love this thing!!

The Dometic 310 Standard Toilet is a fantastic upgrade! It was incredibly easy to install, and I had it set up in no time. I recently installed the Dometic 310 Standard Toilet in my RV and it has completely transformed my camping experience. Love the Dometic 310.It was very easy to replace our dometic 300 with the 310. Only took me about 20 minutes to remove the old and replace with the new. Removal and install only required a few common household tools. The install instructions and diagrams are well written and easy to follow.Why a 310? It has a nice porcelain 1 piece bowl that is much easier to keep clean than the plastic of the 300. The leaner stool profile at the base also allows better access for cleaning outside and behind the toilet in small bathrooms.Be sure to measure your wall clearance if planning to swap from the 300 to the 310. I knew our clearance was going to be a tight fit because our 21ft TT has a very tiny bath. The top back of the 310 stool is slightly deeper than the 300, so in our TT the 310 just barely fit, leaving a clearance of less than 1/2 inch. Fortunately the smaller clearance does not affect operation or use of the toilet or the cabinet behind it.The quiet close lid and seat truely are silent and sturdy, unlike the plastic seat on the 300. It is solid enough to sit on while drying off after a shower without having to fear cracking the lid.Don't hesitate because of the price diff between the 300 and 310. There is no comparison when it comes to quality, functionality, and comfort of the 310!

The toilet mechanism is very quiet. It was easy to install. Just be ready to add an elbow connector to your pex pipe.

Just installed it today. Fit great, easy to install, and came with all the hardware. The soft close lid is great. Only con to note is the seat came with a pretty good scuff on it, but i was able to get 90% of it off with a magic eraser, so all good.

I replaced an old low profile Aqua Magic Starlite toilet mounted on a raised platform with this. First warning, even though this says low profile its still slightly taller. I’m 6’2” and my feet just touch the floor sitting on it, everyone else in the family is 5’ and under and have to use a small step stool now.Install of this one is just as smooth and easy as installing a residential toilet in your house, unlike the Thetford toilet I replaced which was unbelievable the way they put the bolt holes in the most inaccessible location possible, which also caused the toilet flange to be installed at a weird off angle. This one doesn’t have those installation design mistakes, the bolts are right at 3 and 9 O’clock and on the outside where you can easily access them.The only installation issues I had were the fault of the old Thetford toilet not this one. My flange was installed in the floor, permanently glued, at a weird offset angle that would not allow the mounting bolts to be placed at 3 and 9 O’clock for the new toilet. They sell an adapter plate that mounts to the old plate at any angle, I needed one of those, I didn’t have one of those and by the time I realized I needed it the old toilet was already thrown out in the front yard, kicked down the street and ran over by a car (I hated that toilet), it wasn’t going back in.The mounting or floor flange on my RV was permanently glued into the 3” PVC pipe and my black water tank under my floor and walls. There was not going to be any simple way to just remove it, rotate it, or install a new one. I ended up carefully sawing a notch into the sides of my existing flange, just wide enough to slide the bolts into the sides under the flange and about half way into the lip of the flange, worked out perfectly and didn’t require a full blown RV remodel to get the new toilet easily installed.This is a very nice toilet, you can feel and see its a quality toilet. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because they use FedEx for shipping. I can’t stand FedEx, I’ve never had FedEx ship a package that wasn’t endless issues and problems. This time was no exception. The first one I got came in a box that looked like FedEx had soaking in water a week then kicked around in the back of the truck and of course the toilet in that box was broken and had to be sent back. I called Amazon and demanded they ship the next one with anyone but FedEx or just refund my money now. They sent it UPS and it arrived perfectly packaged and in excellent condition, at my door, no hassles. Things I’ve never once seen FedEx do.
