Never received item. Gave 4 stars because used item several times in the past. Great for recording. However lately the cover has been made of a less expensive material.

I’ve used this book for decades to record everything for my husband’s business. I started before spreadsheets, internet programs etc and I continue to because I like things in writing. My accountant loves my record keeping and it is immensely helpful to her as well as me. Easy to use.

Fine bookkeeping system, very complete even though didn't need the extra pages for employees. Nicelyorganized system and very easy to use.

I appreciate the way the pages are arranged. There's just enough room for monthly information. The contrast of the black on white is such a relief. The other brand I once got (because the major retailer that I used to buy these from switched to it) has blue on white which I found difficult to look at for long periods. Maybe I'm just a creature of habit. In which case I can attest to the consistency of this product for decades.

I use this to keep up my bills at home. I've changed a few things to make it work for us and it's been just fine. There are lots of lines for bills and plenty of pages per month. It was a good price also. A good buy!***Update - 6/12/2014: HOW TO USE THIS FOR HOME BILLSWe are still using this book to keep up with our home bills & it works great. It does appear intended for office use, but here is how I accommodated it to our household needs. On the last few pages, I have all my passwords and bill info written down. Easily accessible for me to flip to or my husband to look at (as if he ever did the bills). In the meat of the book are sets of 1 "Details" page and 4 "Continuation" pages. Those are basically like a very large check register. I started to use a set of those pages monthly by writing down each expenditure, but that got too complicated for our busy lifestyle. Now I just use 2 pages per month - the "Details" page and the 1 "Continuation" page that faces it. I write numbers 1-31 (days of the month) down the 4 columns those pages have. I write down the name and amount of each bill on the date it's due. If I have 4 bills due on the 3rd, I go across the pages on the 3rd line. In addition to this book, we also use Dave Ramsey's Gazelle Budget to plan our expenditures and my bank's Internet statements to help reconcile. So when my check clears, I mark it paid in the Gazelle Budget and write a checkmark in my recordbook. I like the Dome Recordbook because I can glance at when bills are due, when they have been paid, and what's coming up. I also highly recommend the Gazelle Budget by DR. It's been the only one I've tried (We've tried Quicken & You Need a Budget) and it's the easiest to understand. This Dome Recordbook complements it.I will be ordering another recordbook because mine has been well-used as I figured out my process, but I can see how if you are careful, 1 recordbook would last you up to 10 years.
