Fit is good & long enough - most smalls are too short for my mini Aussie doodle. Easy to put on.My dog can’t have velcro so this rain coat was perfect.

Overall I am very happy with this raingear for my dog who is basically a mop with legs right now. We live in Seattle and do a lot of walks in the rain and mud. This is a surprisingly well made and well designed garment and really keeps the mud at a minimum along the underside and back of legs. Our dog has a ton of fur so we actually can’t buckle it right now but the zipper holds just fine. The built in stretch in the neck chest area allow for a lot of size flexibility. Our dog is about 35 pounds and 17 inches along the back and the XL fit him well. Our other dog is about 25 pounds and thin but also 17 inches along the back and the Large fit her just fine. The snap on the neck making getting it on easier. The key is to get it on the two front legs, close the snap and then put it on the back legs and then zip it up. The dogs didn’t love it at first but adapted pretty quickly and it works great. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and happy to not have to deal with a muddy mess of a dog after every walk.

I bought one when my dog was a puppy and loved it, but he outgrew it. This one is size M and fits perfectly. He’s a big Yorkie, 6kg / 13 lbs. His back is 15” long and this size is for a 12” back, but it seems fine. His chest is 17”, neck is 10.5” and front legs are 5.5” from floor to his underside. It fits perfectly and there is room for a light sweater underneath. The design is great - it provides excellent coverage and the legs stay on. My dog loves to roll in snow and this keeps the snowballs off his fur. Keeps him nice and dry and he doesn’t mind wearing it. The fabric, zipper and materials are very good quality. I highly recommend this dog coat.

Was told back length was 19” and it measured 261/2”. No zippers( has snaps), has hood(not supposed to), was supposed to be red (black and red). This item was not at all all as advertised. Huge disappointment. No stars if I could.

This is pretty good!! She's only worn it a few times, but so far it seems to work well. She can climb into/out of the car and she can pounce around. Her gait seems to be OK, although there is a little bit of restraint, due to the legs. The legs could be a little longer, for the winter, but i do have boots for her too.It's really easy to put on, once you figure out how to lay it out and my dog is really compliant, so it is not a struggle. I can see that it would be if your pup has not been acclaimated to you doing things to it.It has an opening for harness leash to pull through; however, i put her harness over the coat (she was in training). The hole will accommodate wide leashes and some people think it's too big, but i think it's fine. i'm sure you could put a piece of velcro to "snap" it together if you don't like the opening.I wish it came in yellow; however, her collar is orange, so i matched it.The only con is that people suggested she is a con-vict escaped from prison !! :D LOL HA HA LOLShe did "escape" being locked up for her life, when i adopted her !! so... there's that.She's 7yr old in these pictures and not an overactive dog. So, all i can attest to is that this works fine for my senior great dane/mastiff mix and it's large enough that in the extreme cold, i think i can put her foal blanket underneath it to keep her a bit warmer.It is a light-weight material and will scrunch up to shove into a tight spot, if needed.We have not been in heavy rain, but it worked fine in light snow, light rain.I'm glad i got this for my girl with osteo-arthritis.

Thin, kind of hard to put on a dog who’s never been dressed before! I do like that the neck was big enough for my bulldog, but the length was a little long and covers his tail. It’s really not adjustable around the midsection of my little guy (fully grown) but he has an above average athletic build for a bully, so I realize he’s hard to buy for. We had it on him for about 1/2 hour indoors to watch him try to chew off the arms on it (they are adjustable) and when we took it off him, he was sweaty. Kind of reminded me of a sauna jacket. If you’re trying to use this for an inside dog, don’t. If you know you’ll be out with your doggie for a while in colder inclement weather, then yes… do it… it will insulate him/her.

Got this in orange for my Corgi who is a total mud monster.The good? It's definitely waterproof and helps keep her cleaner for sure. It rinses clean quickly too. It looks good and it's true to fit.The less good? I wish it was more genuinely adjustable. The stomach latches are barely enough to snug it up to her body. Because the body isn't snugged up enough, she has to adjust how she runs to keep her legs in the limbs/holes. I have to roll up her little legs/sleeves to be sure she can really move. The legs should have the ability to shorten up and the latches round the middle should be able to synch it up to their bodies.The confusing? There is a leash hole on the top shoulder. Of a waterproof rain coat. Which is meant to keep them dry. Could you toss some velcro in there to keep it shut at least? It's a small detail, but it's a strange thing to add considering the purpose. It didn't seem to cause a problem though.

I bought this because my dog's hair gets caked with snowballs in deeper snow. Nice quality and mostly well thought out design. Zippers are covered so they don't get iced up. It's light weightso it requires a sweater underneath if it's cold outside. I wish the legs were longer and that the velcro was positioned so that they could be tightened more. Sizing chart was spot on. Ordered a M. My dog is 16" in length, with 17.5" girth, and weighs 12.8#. In this pic she is wearing a thin sweater underneath but it's not too tight. Also wish the tummy cut out wasn't quite so big. I'm going to buy a longer sweater to put underneath to protect that area. Well worth the price!

I ordered the S size for my pomeranian which matched his measurements on the size guide.The coat is waaay too small for him. I’m currently returning the coat to order a size or two or above so we’ll see how that works out.I’d recommend sizing up at least one size.
