My tiny guy hates going out when it’s wet, strong wind knocks him around and it doesn’t take much snow to make the yard unnavigable. I hoped that using this on our partially covered and sheltered deck would make inclement weather easier for him to handle. The dog sniffed it, then ignored it. I tried attractant spray. I collected his own urine* and sprinkled it on the grass. I tacked his urine-soaked paper towel to the cardboard-covered wall next to the patch right at his nose height. First thing every morning, for weeks, I stood with him on a short leash and begged him to do his business. He sniffed at it and would even sit on it and whine to go inside so he could run to the “real” outside door. When the snow was deeper than he is tall, and no grass was available, I put this out and led him to it. He sniffed it, then relieved himself on the little bit of concrete path we’d managed to shovel. As the weeks of snow continued, he walked over the patch to yellow up the snow. The grass looks great, it actually grew a little until the serious cold hit. But, the dog will not use it.* I waited until he started to pee and tossed a paper towel under the stream. Even with wearing gloves, it was gross and my dog thinks I’m a weirdo.

My pup loves it. Takes all his toys on it. Naps on it...... BUT PEES ON THE FLOOR NOT THE GRASS!

When I first saw it advertised, I thought it was a good idea. Dogs go outside on the grass to potty. I had to ban my dogs from the grass, and they would potty in the house. So I ordered 1. At first, they were cautious but then my Pomeranian peed on it and the others follow. I to order a small one for night time while they are locked inside,
