We did first purchase the size that would be the best for the length of our dog. However the chest strap was way too big and went all the way back to her hips. We got one size down and although the jacket doesn’t cover her back fully there is better protection and coverage for her abdomen. The quality is great and the color is hot pink. We very much think this was worth the $45! Very easy on and off. I love the leg straps so that the jacket doesn’t fly up in the wind.

I got a size large for my beagle mix and it fits him perfectly. It's very durable and easy to put on and take off. I like the adjustable chest strap and the reflective trim for we walk at night. It's not heavily padded but the inside is somewhat fleecy and his body feels warm to the touch when I take it off after his walk, so I obviously it keeps him warm. I also like that it keeps him dry on rainy days!

I was concerned about having a coat that had to go over my dog's head, but she does fine with it. This coat is beautiful, practical, warm and easy to get on and off. And the largest fits my 85# lab/ pit mix. I love that it's quick to get on and off and fits her well.

I own a black lab and she has worn a safety vest at night since she was a puppy. I made it myself and it was super easy to put on and she loves it. She is old now and we needed something to keep her warm and protect her hips as best you can when all functions are at that end. She loves her coat. It is designed the way I did. I hold it, she walks her head into the head hole, I reach down and pull the chest part between her legs and wrap the velcro ties around her waist. She is so proud. I struggle to take it off before she lays down. This one is a winner. BTW, I have 3 other dogs that have NEVER worn one and they all put it on easy. The Shepherd loved it, the Border collie tolerated me messing with him and the westie (it was and xl coat) was irate lol

I got a 2XL for my nine month golden retriever. It fits him well with room for him to finish growing. The 3XL would have been way too big. It's lightweight, but warm. The nice soft inner lining and big soft collar feel like they are very comfy. Instead of the horizontal slot that most coats have for the leash, this one has a nice size vertical zipper that accommodates the leash attachment whether it's on a collar or a harness. The outer material is water resistant and seems like a good quality. I like the leg straps which keep the back end in place, but you don't have to use them. Best of all, it has very strong velcro that closes on top of the dog, so you don't have to close it under his belly where you can't see what you're doing. There are color options. This is a great doggie coat!

I got this coat for my large boxer. It is hard to find things that fit him as he is long and very deep chested. I measured him and ordered via the chart. It fits perfectly. I love that he can wear his harness under it. It is not bulky and it is very easy to put on.The lining is very soft and warm. It is wind and water resistant. The rainbow colors are beautiful. He struts with pride! Great value.

This is an extremely well made and perfectly sized coat. It exceeds my expectations! Even though my dog is only 45 lbs, he is very long. The instructions said to order up a size to match the length, even if other measurements are smaller. I followed directions and ordered an XL. This is the first coat my dog has had that actually covers his rear! The coat also covers his chest instead of just the top of his body. It is super warm and the velcro is long enough to secure around his middle, which is actually only L in size. I am thrilled about the zipper for the leash opening. I have had to cut openings in previous coats because his harness tab is not near his neck, where other coats have had a leash opening. The zippered opening on this coat is long and works from both directions, closing in the middle like a suitcase zipper. It can open high for collar leashes or lower for harnesses. I have the opening matched to the harness tabs. I am so happy that my dog, who is not getting any younger, has a coat to keep him warm. He loves his walks, but I've felt so bad for him when it's zero or colder. Now he can truly enjoy his winter walks!

I really liked this coat and so did my dog! Inside is soft fleece to keep her warm, outside is waterproof to keep her dry. I liked the style of slipping over her head and Velcro straps to secure around chest, much easier than having her step into arm holes. It fit her pretty well, just a little short on the back. We went with a Large for our 46 lb pitbull with a 16" neck, 26" chest, 21" back length. I like the reflectors that makes her easier to see at night. And I liked the dual zipper for the harness, but that has already broken!! We've only been using the coat for about 1 month and the zipper has already separated from the coat.. major bummer!! I was really hopeful this coat would last, we really liked it, but now I'm extremely disappointed!! And I'm one that does my research and reads reviews before buying. It's so hard to find good quality items.

Bought two sizes (3XL and 2XL) for a large and larger dog. Certainly waterproof and warm. I followed the measurements given and my large dog is covered from head to tail, a great plus for a dog with a long body shape. However, the down side is that the chest girth is a bit large and the velcro has to be attached at the very end, leaving a flap that has to be tucked underneath. Same for the smaller dog.! I predict that the thin elastic, holding the coat on under the back legs, won't last. Time will tell!

But we absolutely LOVE this jacket! My doggo's 32" girth, 22" long with 21" neck and the 2XL fits him beautifully.Definitely lots off room for adjusting in the chest with the wrap around belt (my favorite feature).It feels nice and warm for those chilly fall and winter walks. It has reflective stripes and the material feels water resistant. You can pop the collar to keep the neck nice and toasty. Very happy with the purchase:)

I got my frenchton (French bulldog x Boston terrier) a size Medium (she is 33 lbs and very muscly and typically cannot find a good fit for her in anything but this jacket fit perfect in all areas! It’s nice and warm and waterproof which is perfect for her in the early morning dog park outings! Let’s see how this holds up! But for now it’s great!
