My Beagle is a few pounds overweight, so I ordered this hoping it would encourage him to do more walking. Setup is fairly straightforward and the design is well thought out with the sides making the dog feel more contained and able to focus on walking. The wheels on the unit allow it to be moved around easily to put away for storage when not in use. The motor is very quiet which is important for use by dogs as a loud motor noise will likely make it scary to use. The treadmill has all the necessary adjustments you find on those designed for human use. It comes with a remote control that allows you to interact with it in case you need to shut it down quickly. There are no pinch points that would allow a paw to get caught between the belt and the frame. It took a bit of coaxing, but I was able to get my dog on the treadmill. This treadmill is great for my dog during the summer months when he would rather be in the house than outside in the heat. I now just roll this out and let my dog get his walking and running in, and he loves it. This is a great item for dogs of all sizes and a great way to get your dog the exercise it needs. For days when it's raining or the weather is bad, this item is great to have.

This Pet Control HQ dog treadmill works well for my 3 chihuahuas and my Boston Terrier mix. My Boston Terrier mix took to it right away, she started walking as soon as she was placed on it, no harness or leash required. She’s 13 years old, and the cold weather makes her joints ache. This is a great way to keep her gently active during the winter months. The chihuahuas were a bit more hesitant and they needed to be put on a leash to get them to stay in place, but they slowly warmed up to it. It helps that it runs super quiet, it barely makes a sound. It does beep loudly when adjusting settings, which startled them a bit, but thankfully you can turn that off. The treadmill came well packaged, and is almost ready to go out of the box. The bar you attach the leash to is easily adjusted from horizontal when stored, to vertical when in use, as long as you don’t attach the side guards. The treadmill is easily moved using the front wheels, and stored upright using the attached feet for support. It also comes with a remote control, user manual, Allen key, and lubricant. You can adjust the speed, set a timer, use a preset program, all using the remote. The treadmill itself seems to be very well made and durable. It feels sturdier than my own walking pad/treadmill. The only aspect I wish was more thought out are the side guards. They screw into place, which is a pain in itself, and they have to be removed in order to fold down the leash bar for upright storage. If they were easier to attach and remove, this dog treadmill would be perfect. Overall, this is still a great product, and a great way to keep my dogs active and healthy, no matter the weather.

Starting with the good, the treadmill is very high quality.When it came to performance it worked as advertised. I found it to be a good volume and not making a obnoxious amount of noise even when set to its highest setting. I found my dog made more noise then the treadmill did when using it.My dog was a bit scared of it as first until she realized its unlimited walks and warmed right up to it afterwards.Performance aside there was two things I really wasn't happy with.For starters is I could not find a weight limit anywhere. It just stats for small to medium dogs, while showing black outlines of dogs of all different breeds. Then its says not for medium/large breeds and would have the same dog silhouettes in that photo.I feel as just being straight forward with it's weight limitations would be a much better approach.I state this as I have a Lab, who is sitting at 70lbs. Well I see retrieves in their photo attempt, but no labs. So when ordering this product I was not sure if my dog was even suitable for it, as its some sort of anagram to figure it out.Or trying to play a game of who's that Dogamon and figure out which dog is my dog.I will say my 70lbs Lab has been using it with no issues to the machine for almost 3 weeks daily. So hopefully that helps others.Now my other issues are the side guards. Out of everything these things took me almost 40 minutes alone to force the holes to line up which then gave them a crooked look.At the listed price of $600 I don't think this should even be remotely close to an issue. This is a high ticket item, with again amazing quality.I felt as if I was going to break them trying to force the holes to align.Besides those two points this machine is flawless, and it is smooth quality through out. Even the handle mechanism was easy to adjust and get in and out of position.It's great, but again for the price I need to deduct the star on the simple failure to just providing a weight capacity and not making it a headache to find out if your dogs okay to use it.And the misaligned holes putting the possibility of damage on assembly.

Updated review:My dog absolutely loves this treadmill! It is built fantastic and is super solid. I just have one thing that I wish were a little better - the display location. This is not really an issue, more a preference.The Great Things:The remote is absolutely fantastic! Solid built and nice to the touch with the anti slip backing. Mine arrived with the battery cap broken, but support was fantastic and they sent me out a new battery cap with no issue!I love how quiet this treadmill is. My dog is able to walk or run on it with little sound.The padding under the tread is also really great and I can tell it is easy for my dog to use without worry of long term joint issues.I like how it can be muted if you need it to be quiet. I mute it in the morning while she gets her run on so I don't wake up my wife when changing the speeds.The build quality is absolutely amazing! This is really solid. I wasn't expecting such a solid built, sturdy treadmill for the price of this product! If you want top tier quality for a reasonable price, this is the treadmill for your pup!Wish were better - (not an issue, more a preference)The display is a little funny being where it is located. I wish there was a better display, like a standing attached one so it is easy to read and turn if you are in a different location. If you are standing in front, which most people will do while getting there dog used to it, everything displayed is upside down. The only way to read it normally is to stand next to it and kind of look over. Like I stated, this isn't an issue, more of a personal preference.Conclusion:Overall, this is by far an amazing treadmill. My dog absolutely loves using it and she wags her tail when she gets to run on it now! I still can't get over how well built this treadmill is. I can move it, run my dog at high speed, etc. This thing doesn't rattle, shake, or feel like it will fall apart at all. This thing feels like it could be tossed across the room and still be fine! For how solid built it is, it isn't as heavy as you would expect! The customer service as well is top tier! They really went above and beyond helping me with the remote battery cap and were incredible friendly!Definitely recommend this product to anyone needing a doggy treadmill.
