I was surprised at how big, thick, and long this is. Great for extra large dogs

I have 2 Great Danes and this is the perfect size for them. They love to play tug with it and/or carry it around. I like that it has multiple knots as that makes it easier for when they are playing tug with me or themselves to not have it slip. It is made of a good strong quality. I have bought this multiple times since I have been happy with it. They also like to chew on it. If I want it to last a long time, I only let them have supervised chewing times and then I put it up, since even though my Great Danes are almost 3 years old, they are still pretty destructive with toys. And the ones that I do just let them chew on freely whenever they want, it takes them awhile to completely destroy it. The last one I gave them freely to chew on whenever they wanted is now in 4 separate parts but they absolutely love to carry those pieces around and chew on the smaller pieces too.

My newfy pup had easily disassembled all his other toys in less then 5-10 min. This rope is still mostly intact. He loves playing tug of war with it and happily spending time chewing on it. I periodically cut the strings off as they can be a hazard. It worked so well that I bought 2 more for his crate and upstairs. These came as advertised and on time.

My dog loved it but like most ropes it didn't last a month at all but it lasted the longest out of all of them. Definitely buy it again for him to destroy as that's what he loves to do to them.

Our dog has destroyed every toy, no matter how indestructible they claim to be. This type has survived and continues to be his favourite toy ever!

Piper is a 30lb, chewing, very strong ball of energy. She has been through several rope toys. Since I came in possession of her, I realized she sat there sometimes and instead of chewing, she was picking the threads out. Once a spot gave way, that was it. The bone turned into a stringy mess.I went in search of a rag bone with a tighter twist. She has had a lot of trouble getting hold of strings on this one. She has managed it on the knots but hasn't gotten far. Even though she is not big, she is strong and determined, so the added length makes it easier for tug of war. It is also rather weighty, but again, no match for Piper. Now, the most fun part of this particular rope bone is that it often attempts to kick her butt. It is a little longer than she is with large knots and rather weighty, but she is strong and picks it up easily. When she goes to grab it at one end to take off with it, she often gets hung up/trips on it. She looks at it as if it did that on purpose and the fight is on! Some might think it is too large for her, but it makes a great playmate!

I've ordered this "bag o rope" toys a couple of times. Our dogs LOVE the rope-y things and play tug of war with them. I wouldn't call them for aggressive chewers, unless they mean that aggressive chewers love them. These rope toys don't last long and if you don't want to find string all over the place, including their poop (and bits of rope toys as well), these aren't for you. The frisbee didn't last but a few minutes before it was destroyed. But, we keep buying them because our dogs LOVE them and have so much fun together.

My pit bull ate it at 7 month and I had to take her to the hospital to get a long string out of her mouth

We have gone through countless ropes already with our 14 month old labrador retriever. The ones at the local stores are all a soft cotton material that frays and comes apart instantly for our power chewer. We would have piles of shredded rope material all over our house and yard. We have had this rope for over a week now (received July 9th) and it has no signs of falling apart yet. There are some frays on the knots where he chews on it, but it will not budge. I also love how long it is, perfect for tug of war with such a big dog (he's already over 80lbs!).UPDATE July 30, we have had this rope for nearly a month and it is officially in 2 pieces. We have a 2 knot rope and a 3 knot rope. He loves to chew the short one and play tug with the longer piece. The long piece is showing some wear and will be a 2 knot rope fairly soon. Sirius still loves his rope very much and I plan to wait it out and see how long it will last.Update August 3. I had to throw out 3 out of the 5 knots at this point. We are down to a short 2 knotted piece with some solid rope in-between. I'm a little sad this rope didn't last longer, but it had a good run. I am keeping my rating at 5 stars because it did outlast other ropes, did not leave a big mess, and kept my pup entertained daily. It was a very sturdy rope.
