Purchased this for my pets. We have a large mixed breed, a beagle, a chihuahua and 2 cats. We have spent thousands on dental care on our chihuahua in the past and our large boy had 10 years of plaque buildup. I used it on our big guy as he is the most patient and docile… I didn’t have to use it past the 2nd strength, he sat for it and when thick plaque chunks started falling off I was thrilled. I tried it on our chihuahua next, she wasn’t as patient but I did managed to get 3 teeth done in one shot. I have been slowly working on the rest of her teeth. So worth it!

Despite it being silent to my ears, it clearly pierced my dogs' ears. He was fine with it when it was off, but as soon as it was powered on, he freaked out- even though it wasn't close to his head. But, really, as a veterinary professional, I am alarmed that these are available without any instructions for safe use whatsoever. It is harmful to scale teeth without also following with high-speed polishing to smooth out microdefects in the enamel. I am afraid that people will use these instruments on their pets to achieve aesthetic improvement but do significant harm to them. Trust me- you can seriously injure your pets with these if you do not have formal training in dentistry. Go to your vet, please!

Really good kit - covers all the bases. Have you seen what a vet charges for teeth cleaning!!!!My dog doesn't like it, but he lets me do it. Its pretty easy. He loves the treats afterwards. I do it once a month and because of that schedule there isn't much to clean. Highly recommended.

UPDATE: Seller reached out and offered a refund. I appreciate their customer service!Worked well in November - took time to get used it to it, but it was ok. Pulled it out last week, thought it was just a dead battery, but even charged, only the light works!$30 for 2 months use is NOT acceptable.

A proper medical grade ultrasonic cart at the veterinarian, costs in the thousands of dollars. If youre trained to perform this procedure you know not to attack the tooth with the tip of the device, because it will damage the tooth enamel or crack the tooth. Theyre trained to only use the side of the tool. Its pointed to travel between the gum and the tooth. My dog is gentle and forgiving of my unwanted harassment and really needs an ultrasonic cleaning. But not forgiving enough to not need anesthesia for a tooth cleaning, he doesnt like people touching his teeth and will move his head around. But he's too old to be put under for a dental. He's an old farm dog I found, old, so has never seen a dental and all his teeth weigh 2 times their normal amount from plaque. This is how much plaque.Putting the tool against anything metal and you can hear a harmonic vibration occurring. Putting it on the dogs tooth, against hard plaque does not easily crack the plaque off. It yields poor to no result. Unlike pro grade equipment at a vet. With proper equipment the plaque should start blowing off in big chunks. For absolute yuck mouth it would take 1-1.5 hrs to do the full plaque removal. With this vibration tool you cant complete it. You could with the manual scales they provide in the kit and would be more smooth sailing if your dog sits still. Anyone that has manually removed plaque with a manual tool knows this is hard and takes time with alot of plaque build up. so rank is: this harmonic tool>manual picks>>>>>ultrasonic cleaner. That unfortunately puts this tool as next to worthless. It either doesnt work or you'll barely see any results for hard plaque. This harmonic pick does not replace a plaque removal procedure or the equipment you need to perform it, unfortunately. its right next to worthless.

I used this right away and it worked! We recently took in two dogs with horrible teeth and we knew we had to do something about it. I wish I had a before and after of the canine but compare it to the teeth around it. Took a few passes but it got the plaque off!

I wasn't sure what to expect. I have tried everything to help my poor dog with her teeth. I didn't want to pay a ridiculous amt of money at the Vet, especially when it's just 3 teeth that needed Jesus! it's miracle!!! 🙏🥰🙏 this was my hail Mary before having no choice, but the Vet.At 1st my dog was not having it!! I tested it out on the opposite side which was not quite as bad as this side. she fought me a little and then realized, hey she is finally getting this crap off my teeth!!! thanks mommy 🐾💗This photo was of the worse side. I felt so terrible about her teeth. I was finally able to help her get this crud off!! I still have a bit left to do, but, just wow!!!I recommend THIS over those expensive powders that don't work. yes, I tried EVERYTHING, except the Vet. 😄ps my dog is a scardy cat shih tzu. she was able to tolerate the noise level and vibration fairly well. the unit does get a little warm, but not on the side touching your dog's teeth.

A couple of years ago my dog had three teeth pulled and it cost me a fortune. I should have been better about brushing his teeth more often, but I took him in for a cleaning quote and here we are again facing a $1300 dental vet bill. So I took a chance on this tool. At first my dog wasn’t thrilled about the sound, but it’s faint and he got used to it. I thought it was going to take me weeks to tackle all that hard and caked on plaque. Some of his teeth looked black around the gums and between his teeth. It took about 40-60 min of intermittent attempts—chipping at it a little at a time, but when I was done he looked and smelled so much better!! I really can’t believe how well this thing works and for such a reasonable price. No gum bleeding, no pain, and super easy to use. Don’t hesitate. Just buy it.
