The Cosibell Waterproof Dog Raincoat is absolutely perfect for my 9 lb. dog—the XS size fits like a charm! It’s super easy to put on and take off, with thoughtful features like back leg straps to keep it secure in windy conditions and a removable zippered hood for versatility.I love the panel that keeps my dog’s underside dry and protected, which is a big plus during heavy rain. We haven't worn this on a walk yet, but I'm so surprised at how well it fit in my 75lb pit mix! When I opened the bag I was short was going to be too large. So definitely use the size guidelines provided, and measure your dog. It is lightweight but seems to be made of a great material. Easy to put on my dog. The jury is still out about the necessity of the elastic bands, I'm worried it will get in the way of poopy time. But the fit is fabulous I don't even have to open the Velcro portion to put it on him, it slides right over his head, which is a plus!I ordered two different brands of raincoat, but this is the one I'm keeping!

I was a little hesitant ordering as most dog clothing runs small regardless of dimensions listed but this was exactly true to size. I ordered the largest size available whichever was closest to a 41” bust and 26” neckline and it FIT PERFECT. My dog is on the husky side so he’s a big boi, he’s about 100lb and when it rains he gets his entire underbelly dirty. I especially like this coat has belly coverage with its wrap around design. It still leaves space to allow him to potty as he is a boy, I also like the back leg straps to ensure the tail doesn’t flap up or fold over. The quality is as great as any high end rain coat you would buy for yourself, I give this product a 10/10!!! Measure your dogs and just order true to that size! :)

Things the buyer should know. (1) On my screen, the color is a reddish pink. In reality, it's not. It's red. However, since it's labelled as red, one can hardly complain. Just letting you know. (2) The XXL is barely large enough for my 90 pound girl. Don't hope that it will fit if the measurements suggest it might not be large enough. (3) My impression after buying a couple of different raincoats is that it's probably unrealistic to expect a coat to fit without some alterations. Dogs come in all shapes. (4) The velcro at the front is extremely strong. I didn't realize the coat came apart in the front at first, and it is only with extreme difficulty that I can get it apart. Great that it does. It allows one to adjust for a better fit. (5) The elastic straps for the hind legs do not look at all comfortable. The construction is such that the coat would almost stay in place without them. It would be great if the designers worked on that. (6) The coat is very effective where it covers. My girl stayed very dry in pouring rain, except for her head and neck, because she didn't want to wear the hood. A funnel neck might work better for her, but if your dog is willing to wear the hood, it will be very effective. (7) Thanks to the coat, I spent 10 minutes drying my girl's head and legs rather than 45 minutes to partially dry her all over. Definitely an improvement. Thanks!Update. The elastic for the legs does not last at all. Totally useless after a few wearings. Need a better design. The rest of the outfit is good quality.

First raincoats I’ve ever purchased for my pups. We moved and walk a lot now, necessitating something that keeps them dry and able to stay out to do their business when it’s raining. The raincoats are a perfect fit, which means no more toweling off all that water afterward. Easy to put on, which is a bonus with these wiggle bums. My staffie is 70 pounds with a typical longer staffie body, the XL was plenty big for him. My girl is 50 pounds and the large was perfect. She’s never worn a coat or anything so I was a bit worried if she would be a pill getting the raincoat on and while wearing it, but she is fine. They aren’t a fan of the hoods but it’s a nice feature to have. The hoods are removal too. Overall, well made and very worth the reasonable price.

I live in a rainy city and walk my dog 4 times per day. He hates the rain and definitely wishes we'd move somewhere with more tolerable weather. In the meantime, I thought a nice waterproof jacket would appease him.While he looks super cute in this coat and it fits well, he can't walk in it for two reasons:1) The front panel is too thick and stiff for him to move his front legs well, which prevents him from being able to walk up and down the stairs.2) The elastic leg bands, which I didn't even realize were there until after a few wears, make it difficult for him to lift his rear legs.If I carry him down the stairs and drag him down the street, sure, it keeps him dry. But unfortunately, my hunt for a raincoat that is comfortable for my dog *and* keeps him dry continues.
