The dog raincoat was easy to use on my dog. It fits well and is great for large dogs.Portable and nice looking. It has an adjustable under carriage for bigger bellies. Easy to put on and take off.All in all, very happy with this dog raincoat, and I look forwardto using it for quite some time. Ok so my daughter has a GSD aussie mix. She has been looking for a rain jacket and came across this. The one thing is, her dog is long and skinny, so finding something that actually fits is difficult. She will have to make a few adjustments with the waist and such to make sure it actually fits. But its cute and it works for what she needs!

So normally an x large from various other sites is her size as she is 65lbs but this was a tad large. The adjusting strap around her waste had to velcroed into the pocket, and the leg straps to hold it in place in the back while she's walking wrre way too long. She's quite a long dog so the fact that it went that far down her tail tells me that a large would've been sufficent, and that for anyone else if you have a very hairy husky, or maybe even a stocky Rhodesian ridgback I'd then select the x large as for pitbulls, coonhound mixes I'd choose the large. This will keep your dog dry and doesn't seem to made out of the cheap stuff that will wrip or tare quickly.

Although this rain coat is not a great fit on my dog I still love the quality and beautiful design. It has a nice heavy weight fabric and lining. The reflective stripe is practical and well designed. It works in a pinch like a poncho but it’s too big on my dog in the size small (he is 16 pounds). It’s not easy to put on for dogs who are finicky about putting on clothes like my dog. You can drape it like a poncho and tie the velcro strap to fasten it as a work around for the difficulty in putting it on. It’s just a really well made and nicely designed rain coat. Dog clothes can be hard to get a good fit. I highly recommend this rain coat. Thank you

our new puppy came to us from TX and he's only 5 months old, so he hasn't been acclimated to the cold and the wet in new england winters. One particularly rainy day we put this on him and he was much more willing and comfortable being outside to potty. He is generally a pup that prefers shirts/coats on, so it's easy to get him into things like this, though he was dubious about the leg straps at first. Once he realized he wouldn't get so wet, however, he was all for it! fits him perfectly now, but i might need to buy him a new one in a couple months as he's likely going to be quite a bit bigger than the rescue estimated!

I have a 90lb golden retriever who does not like the rain. He loves to swim, but if it rains on him he is unhappy.This raincoat (sized XL) fits him very well. I love that his whole front end is covered. It's a little hard to get on over his head and legs - but once he's in he's secure. It also has elastic you can slip his back legs through, but I found it was secure enough without using those straps.Also, he is cute as the dickens in this raincoat.One negative is that it doesn't fit his head very well. It fits best if his head is down - but he doesn't always walk with his head down and the hood sort of balls up at the back of his head when he stands more erect.Otherwise it works well. It will be easier to walk the dog in the rain.

I ordered this rain jacket for my 45lb Australian shepherd puppy (about 7 months old now). It fits, although I do need to cinch the darn thing all the way up. It is longer than she is, so I would say that this item is accurately sized, unlike a lot of other brands similar to this one. I always order up as the size that comes in tends to be smaller, so I was pleasantly surprised when this came in and was too large for my pup. Not necessarily a bad thing as I can always take an item in vs redoing the construction of an item to add. I can absolutely recommend this item, and you can trust the size chart on this one!
