I liked the rounded tips on all items. No more worries that dog will shake a fine tips hurt an eye Haven’t tried them yet but they feel nice in the hand and feel sturdy as well. The case is great

These were super great than expected for the price. I'm not a groomer, this was my first attempt, and I did not read the very short instructions before hand. I do recommend doing that though, because afterwards I realized it said to thin the hair first, then trim it, which makes sense now that I look back😅 as that would make the trimming much easier because the thicker the stack of hair between the scissors, the harder to actually cut. This is not because the scissors are not sharp, but because they are not garden shears lmao. The scissors are very sharp and cut very clean. The design fits my small hands with ease (I'm 5'1" for reference), and they were very light and agile. I also like that they have the little finger hold outside of the circle for better control and that the tips are rounded for safety to prevent cuts. Clearly I need to watch some grooming videos, but as for the scissors, I am very impressed. So impressed that I want to actually take care of them because they were such a good product. So I cleaned them with alcohol and was so happy for the little case they came in to organize and the comb to help with cutting and trimming. Thank you!

Two of the four scissors were sharp. The scissors are shorter than I anticipated. The curved scissors were defective. I used honing steel and sharpener on them as well as adjusting the screw and now they work.The set is not bad for the price.

EDITED TO ADD pic of tape for customer question.That's tough to answer. Measuring the inside hole with the tape running vertically (following the length of the scissors) it is approximately 7/8 inches or a strong 21 centimeters. It's a hair short of 22cm.The horizontal measurement appears to be 3/4 inches or 20 centimeters.I would suggest measuring one of your scissors to see how close it comes.Or measuring the knuckle of my thumb with a soft tape:it's 2 1/2 inches PLUS 1/16 (2 9/16th??) (Math is not my cup of tea!)Flipping the tape over with a sticky to mark the spot, it reads 66 cm. I hope this makes sense and helps.This set is very comfortable in hand. I was never a fan of the metal combs - but they were NOT at all like the one in this set! It was also comfortable to use. The scissors have a smooth quiet action and a very nice feel in hand. There is also a small card with a few helpful care tips included. I've always used a thinning shears to cut through matts behind the ears which also helped slow the recurrence. I was surprised to see that NOT recommended. Now to get that grooming table and I'm set to care for my pups!I love the case as well. It zips smoothly. There are 2 suede like pieces that help separate the 2 sides. 1 is stitched in and a smaller piece covers the smaller scissors thus separating it from the comb.My only wish is that the beautifully embossed logo had been put on the case instead of the card stock wrapped around it. I expect this set to last a long time with proper care. Highly recommend for those who want or need to do some home grooming.

I had purchased a set a couple of years ago and have been trimming my dogs since they were pups. I have replaced this set through the year. I recently went back to buy another set but they seem to be of a different quality? The scissors felt too heavy in my hands and I return them. They are effective and well worth the price if you are able to be comfortable with trimming your dogs. The safety feature is vital. I ended up buying another set that was lightweight that I like better than these....
