Este enorme transportín (casi más bien diría caseta móvil) de marca "Pecute" no está nada mal para quien tenga un coche con maletero grande, o asientos abatibles de superficie plana.Yo prefiero usarlo casi como "caseta móvil" para el coche más que como transportín para llevar al animal en el aire, ya que su gran tamaño lo hace bastante incómodo para llevarlo por el único asidero que tiene en el techo. Y es que que incluso estando vacío se deforma un poco debido a su peso y a que el techo no es rígido, por lo que con un animal dentro sería muy incómodo y peligroso para la integridad estructural de la caseta, ya que se fija solo mediante cremalleras.Aún así, un pequeño paseo, por ejemplo, desde donde tengamos aparcado el coche hasta la casa o la clínica veterinaria, creo que lo podría aguantar perfectamente... aunque yo prefiero usarla como caseta para transportar a la perra en el coche.Básicamente se trata de una lámina semi rígida (sospecho que plástica más que de cartón), forrada de tejido de nylon negro, que dan forma a la base, el techo y la parte trasera.Los laterales en cambio son solo de nylon, pero tienen un esqueleto metálico en los bordes que se encargan de aportarle rigidez y sostén al conjunto.Se ensamblan y cierran mediante cremalleras, aunque cuesta un poco montarlas, ya que esos marcos rígidos hacen que se queden un poco forzadas y tirantes de más en las esquinas, por lo que hay que juntarlas haciendo fuerza con la otra mano. Aunque una vez superadas los ángulos curvos de las esquinas avanzan más fluidas.A todo esto hay que sumarle que incluye también una especie de tabla rígida a modo de "cama desmontable" que ocupa toda la base. Es de unos 2 cm de grosor, y está forrada en tela semi acolchada y aterciopelada, lo que no resulta muy cómoda para la perra pues es bastante dura, aunque sí cumple como soporte.Es de un color gris clarito que se ensucia muy rápidamente, aunque también se puede aspirar, o incluso me atrevería a decir "lavar" si dispones de una aspiradora de alfombras o tapicerías con chorro de agua, como puede ser una "Karcher Puzzi".Aún así, yo le tengo un colchón de espuma forrado en tela para que sea más cómoda.Una vez montado y ensamblado el transportín, lo mueves con cierta facilidad gracias a ese asa que tiene en el techo, aunque repito que mejor que este vacío pues no está muy bien diseñado para soportar peso extra.Eso sí, la estructura se soporta a sí misma perfectamente, quedando como una enorme, luminosa y ventilada "tienda de campaña" para mascotas que no pasen de un tamaño pequeño o mediano. (Digamos que podrían caber perfectamente 2 caniches o 2 gatos si se llevan bien.)Y digo luminosa y ventilada, porque sus 4 caras integran grandes ventanas con rejilla de ventilación.!!Así mismo, la frontal y la del lateral derecho son también puertas que se pueden abrir o cerrar mediante cremalleras.Además, estas cremallera incluyen un ingenioso sistema de bloqueo mediante "mosquetones" en sus propios tiradores, de modo que se quedan cruzados entre sí para que no se pueda forzar su apertura desde dentro. (Nunca lo había visto, y me parece una idea muy inteligente.!)Tanto la ventana trasera como la puerta frontal, también tienen cierres de tela opaca a modo de "cortinillas" o "parasoles" con cierre de cremallera, de modo que podremos ventilar más o menos el transportín, y proteger al animal de la luz o el sol directo.Estas cortinillas se irían enroscando sobre sí mismas hacia arriba, pudiendo fijarse una vez giradas del todo mediante un par de velcros estrategicamente situados. Un detalle muy inteligente también, y que valoro muy positivamente.!Este sistema también lo incluyen las cortinillas de la puerta frontal, pero en este caso también añade una especie de botón de barra central que encaja sobre un ojal de goma, para mantener la puerta abierta con la rejilla enroscada, en caso de que nos interese... Por ejemplo si estamos en el campo y queremos dejar que la mascota entre y salga a su aire. (Prácticamente como una tienda de campaña de calidad, pero en un formato "lujo asiático" para mascotas no muy grandes.)La única ventana que no incluye cortinilla ni cremallera de apertura o cierre sería la izquierda, aunque esto es lógico pues en la parte inferior tiene unos grandes bolsillos con solapa que se cierran mediante velcro y que resultan muy prácticos.En mi caso yo los uso para guardar un arnés/chaleco y una correa retráctil, que aunque son de un tamaño considerable caben perfectamente ordenados.Sus medidas generales son: 62cm de ancho X 51cm de alto X 45 cm de profundidad, aunque yo creo que sería igualmente cómodo con 45 cm de alto (tal como es la jaula de plástico rígido con cierre de rejilla metálica abatible que usábamos hasta ahora, con una base mucho más ancha y espaciosa, y que le era perfectamente cómoda.) Además, aún siendo bastante más grande, molestaba mucho menos en el maletero por el simple hecho de ser un poquito más baja, ya que se podía introducir más hacia el interior. Cosa que con este no se puede hacer debido a su altura.Yo tengo un Mercedes Clase-A W169 (de los últimos que eran compactos y muy altos), y aún así, desde el retrovisor central veo parte del transportín asomando y molestándome cuando lo llevo en el maletero, ya que es esos 6 cm "alto de más".En cuanto a la inquilina...Tenemos 2 perritas y la más pequeña va perfectamente sobre su camita, atada con un arnés y cinturón de seguridad sobre el asiento trasero... Y el transportín lo usamos para llevar a la otra que es más grande, joven y un poco inquieta, lo que hace que no pueda ir sobre los asientos ya que son de piel y me los destrozaría en 2 viajes intentando hacer "cama", aunque fuera dentro de su propia camita acolchada.Aunque tengo que reconocer que con el anterior transportín le daba algo de ansiedad durante los primeros minutos de viaje, a pesar de ser mucho más ancho y cómodo... Y por eso, muchas veces la llevábamos con el transportín rígido sobre el asiento doble abatido de las plazas traseras, donde iba de frente y con más luz, aunque me resultaba bastante más incomoda de subir y bajar.Sin embargo, es extraño pero con este "Pecute" no le da esa ansiedad, quizás por ser más luminoso y no tan duro (aunque el otro también tenía un colchón blando de 4cm, así que no me lo explico.)Lo único malo que le encontré a este transportín, es que si lo intento llevar sobre los asientos traseros, las correas de fijación se me quedan unos 20cm cortas aunque las extienda al límite.!!Así que no puedo llevar a la perra ahí pues sería ilegal y me podrían multar ya que no puede ir nada "suelto", y menos un objeto tan grande.!!Además las correas que trae son muy débiles, casi simbólicas, y para colmo se fijan mediante clips de plástico, por lo que en caso de frenada brusca se desmontarían al instante.!!Aunque por suerte y como dije, con esta caseta blanda no le da ansiedad ir en el maletero así que va siempre ahí, lo que además es mucho más cómodo para subirla y bajarla.En definitiva...Estamos ante un muy buen transportín, (no muy "transportable" si esta ocupado debido a su tamaño y consistencia), pero perfecto para llevar al animal en el maletero del coche, de forma legal y sin que nos multen.!Eso sí, como digo, se necesita un coche con el maletero de techo abierto hacia adentro, tipo monovolumen, sub, o un utilitario que permita abatir los asientos en plano, y unas cintas seguras para fijarlo en caso de llevarlo ahí , ya que las cintas y clips que incluye son muy débiles.*(Y recordad que está terminantemente prohibido llevar a los animales en un maletero cerrado por completo.!!)Por ahora la llevamos usando casi un mes, y de momento las cremalleras resisten perfectamente varias aperturas y cierres diarios, y del resto de mantiene como nueva, salvo por la base que ya está un poco sucia... Nada que no se resuelva con la aspiradora.Su precio ronda los 67 euros, lo que estaría bastante bien para la calidad de materiales y la funcionalidad que nos ofrece.(Y recordad que se puede plegar y guardar en plano, al contrario que los transportines rígidos.)Pero es que además incluye un descuento del 32% que lo deja en 46,99 euros, lo cual es un precio increíble en comparación con otros artículos similares y de bastante menor calidad.!!Por lo tanto, recomiendo su compra con total confianza, y le dejo mi nota máxima, a pesar del pequeño defecto que le encontré en las correas de fijación, pues es perfectamente subsanable con unas cinchas con enganches metálicos, como las que todos dormir solemos tener en el coche, quedando esto en un segundo plano si tenemos en cuenta su increíble relación calidad / precio.!!Asi que ya sabéis... Si estáis buscando un buen transportín tipo "tienda de campaña de lujo" y equipada con todos los "extras", aquí tenéis una oportunidad buenísima y al mejor precio, por lo que os puedo asegurar que no os arrepentiréis si os decidís a pillarlo.De momento nosotros estamos encantados, y respeto que sea por mucho más tiempo.Un saludo y felices compras.!!

TldrThis crate is great! The size is ideal for 2 cats who get along or 1 cat and a small litter box on a long trip. It's well made, sturdy enough to stand up even with the doors open and a 14+lb cat curled up on the “roof", thanks to the design which put the wire in a separate zip up panel just outside of the “doors". More carriers should implement this design, as it allows for flat, compact storage AND sturdy stability.2 carriers can fit end to end in the back of most cars/SUVs, which is great.Possibly downsides to think about is that it's awkward to carry because of the size & there's no shoulder strap option to help mitigate the hand carry issue. Also, it could be difficult to get in & out of a car when loaded with cats, depending on your height, physical ability and vehicle configuration.The full reviewI have 3 cats and am planning a ~1400 mile move that I expect to take 3-5 days minimum (my spine is a hot mess). I learned a lot from the experience of evacuating to NC for Hurricane Milton with the cats, and knew I wanted/needed a better option than their regular small crates for an even longer trip, so I've been trying to gather things I think will make this trip more pleasant for us all, and this carrier from Pecute is one of the things that will actually make it a more pleasant experience for them!First, the size of the crate is perfect for 2 cats who get along or 1 cat and a litter box. I'm going the 1 cat and a litter box route with it, as I already have another slightly larger carrier that will accommodate the other 2 plus a litter box, and my older girl hates car rides & already sometimes gets a little testy with the 2 gray “kittens" even under the best of circumstances. She's also been known to soil a carrier in the car, bc when she's gotta go, she's *really* gotta go(!!!), so having a carrier and litter box to herself is ideal. At 24x17, this crate has plenty of room for a decent size litter box AND space sprawl out, esp since she's a petite 8lbs. The carrier is spacious enough that even one of the 14+lbs grays would have plenty of room with a litter box added, too. (One of the pics is with a 16x12 travel litter box on one side of the carrier)I set the carrier up when it arrived, and all of my cats immediately decided it was a great little hangout spot. They've use it to snuggle up in, as a nap spot, and as a home base to return to in between attacks on their toys.The carrier is very smartly designed. To “assemble", simply zip up the 2 sides and voila! A sturdy carrier/soft crate is born! One of the sides has a zippered mesh “door” in it, the other has a mesh window. Because of the way the crate is designed, it's surprisingly sturdy, even with the doors open, and somehow manages to maintain its shape and structure with a 14+lb cat running across the roof several times before deciding it would be a good place to settle in for a nap. (I'm mad at myself for not snapping any pics during the hour+she was snoozing up there!)There's a second very large mesh “door" on the front that also features an optional “curtain” for privacy, and another “curtain” on the back. Both “curtains" and the large zippered door on the front can be rolled up and securely held open (the curtains are held up by Velcro, the door with a toggle).All of the zippers have clips on one of the dual zippers, so even if your cat is typically an escape artist capable of opening zipped up doors, they won't be able to perform a vanishing act as long as you remember to snap the zips together.There's a leash clip on the interior, along with an insert that adds firmness and stability to the base while also acting as a cushioned bed with removable & washable cover.A big storage compartment lives on the exterior back of the carrier, secured with Velcro closures. It's big enough to hold travel bowls, leashes, a travel litter box (collapsed of course), etc.There are even straps with buckles to keep the carrier compact and together for storage, which is something I haven't seen in other carriers or similarly sized playpens and like much more than the usual elastic (as a side note, I wish smaller carriers included some sort of buckle or even elastic to keep them closed and compact when not in use!).There's a lot to like about this carrier, and I know I'm forgetting something!I do wish there was a way to connect a hammock, which would make use of the height this carrier has, and would potentially even allow for 2 cats and a litter box in the carrier. If there is a way I haven't discovered it.Other stuff… the carrier is big enough to be awkward to try to carry or to get in & out of a car, esp with a cat or two in it! I'm not sure this would be doable (for me) if I had to remove the carrier each night & return it to the car in the morning… Instead, the cats will be harnessed and I'll be leashing them in the big carriers before transferring to their small carriers to go into the hotel each evening, leaving the big carriers set up in the backseat, ready to reverse the process each morning. It does mean I need to bring 3 small soft carriers in the car as well, which isn't ideal, but thankfully they don't take up a ton of space, and it still beats the alternatives.All in all, this is a terrific option for a large carrier, esp for the price. It will comfortably fit a medium sized dog, 2 cats who like each other, or a single cat and a small litter box. And, you can easily fit 2 across in the backseat of most cars/SUVs!

Cette grande caisse de transport peut être utilisée pour un petit chien ou plusieurs chats. Je recherchais une caisse de transport pour pouvoir déplacer mes trois chats en même temps. Elle est suffisamment spacieuse pour que mes trois chats puissent loger relativement confortablement. La caisse de transport se replie complètement pour être facilement stockée sans prendre de place. On peut laisser la grande porte principale ouverte pour que les chats puissent y aller librement. Il y a un matelas doux à l'intérieur, ce qui ajoute du confort. La caisse de transport possède différentes sangles pour se fixer dans la voiture afin d'assurer la sécurité lors du transport. C'est un produit de bonne qualité. J'en suis satisfaite.

This product arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and was packaged in a simple, cardboard box.PROS-I have a hedgehog and this is perfect for when I take her to bring friends. I love that it is dark inside because of the mesh yet it is easy enough to see inside to peek at her without having to open everything up. The sides have flaps which can make the interior quite dark which is perfect for the hedgehog since she is nocturnal.-This is a very light product despite the fact that it is quite big. I have a shoulder injury yet I can pick this up one-handed with ease. Your experience may differ if you have a heavier pet of course.-The material is quite nice, nothing seems cheap or flimsy.-This thing was larger than I expected and it folds down with ease (the walls kind of snap into place which give the structure its shape).-This could easily be used as a carrier, a shelter or a bed for various pets.CONS-I could probably not use this as a permanent home for my pet because the interior would have a lot of wear and tear because she likes to try and burrow through the sides. The walls are shape are not particularly solid and I had a fox terrier for instance, and while he would have been able to snuggly fit inside, he would likely have demolished it.-The bottom of the carrier is this nice piece of cushioned fabric however it is not particularly easy to wash (a hard carrier surface would be much easier to rinse out).-The asking price of $79 CAD is not unreasonable for this product and it may be perfect if you are using this for a car. However, if you need a dedicated carrier and have a larger rather than a smaller pet, I would probably prefer to invest into something more durable. For short term excursions however, this may be perfect especially since it stores so easily.
