This bed sits perfectly in my 48-in cage. It is plenty thick enough but not too thick and bulky. I could not have picked a better item

I’m very happy with this dog bed mostly because our fur baby loves it. It’s soft and cushy. I also like that it doesn’t slide. The fact that it’s washable is very attractive to me too.

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of these beds/mats. They are thick enough to give some nice cushion. If I had an older or arthritic dog I would probably look for something thicker, just to make sure they were comfortable. But for my young dogs these are perfect, fit perfectly in the nice kennels we also got from Amazon to upgrade the utilitarian metal kennels we've used for decades. We figured if we're going to keep kennels set up, we wanted something that looks nicer. One of my 4 dogs cannot be trusted so we don't ever see us without a kennel. My golden was more than happy to go in, lay on this cushy mat and take a nap. I didn't notice any weird smells either after opening. I'm guessing the dogs didn't either as they used the beds right away. I have always used " throw size" polar fleece blankets in the kennels but the golden like to pull them out and run around. He hasn't done that once with the new mats.The only question will be washing, which I'll probably do once a month or so. I'll take them to the laundry mat and report back if it doesn't turn out well.At this time, I think these are a good choice.

I was a little skeptical at first because when it inflated out of the package it was very thin. But once I washed it, it became so big, soft, and fluffy. It’s a pretty thick bed - more than it shows in the pictures. Very easy to wash and it seems like it will hold up well.

Got this for use in my dog's crate. It fit well and wasn't excessive. Unfortunately, it was destroyed within just two days and went straight into the trash. If your dog is a chewer, this will be a waste, but if not, it is a decent thin dog mat.
