I adopted an older dog who has severe anxiety and is a reactive barker. She would start barking and work herself up. It was a vicious circle over which I had no control. I sought a humane solution to curb her barking, as verbal corrections were ineffective. I found this collar, which only vibrates and beeps (no shock), and decided to give it a try. The collar arrived the next day and took less than an hour to charge completely. Since the collar is highly adjustable and designed to fit dogs of all sizes, after I adjusted the strap to the proper length, I trimmed the excess length to fit a smaller neck. I rounded the end to prevent any sharp edges from poking her or causing unnecessary irritation. I recommend using a lighter to lightly burn the cut end to prevent future fraying.With the first bark, the collar activated. While I was worried that it would trigger her anxiety, it did not. The beeps and vibration caught her a little off guard, but she was otherwise fine. She's been using the collar for over a week, and it's doing an amazing job at curbing her barking. She still barks, but it usually stops with a single bark. The collar is fairly sensitive and activates when she makes her chuffs and "talking" noises. Over the past week, I have yet to recharge the collar. She has been putting that collar through a workout, and its battery life is outstanding.Don't sleep on this collar. It's worth every penny.

I bought this bark collar as a gift for my daughter, whose dog was barking constantly—especially when left alone or when someone passed by the house. I have a puppy that loves to bark at people and dogs when I walk her. It is so annoying and isolating as people try to avoid us in the park. Since I want her to make more friends and be more approachable, I decided to research a vibrating collar. This collar seemed to fit the description of my need.I will say the instructions were a bit vague, but you have to charge this device fully and then apply the settings before putting it on the dogs neck.I was skepticall that it would work since it was censored, but I am amazed at how much it has improved her barking behavior.My dog no longer barks at people that walk past our front door and her barking outside has greatly reduced. I am a fan because I tried everything before this device. A + RATING.

I have a 10-pound Maltese named Daisy who barks at everything from the mailman to squirrels in the yard.
