I only write reviews after trying out the product a few months to see if they work as advertised. I get cold easily and do not like the cold weather, which is why I live in Southern California. I purchased this this heated vest to keep my neck and shoulder area warm, as I sometimes get headaches from the cold. It works great and keep me warm, with 3 settings (high/medium/low) in 3 area (front, neck/shoulders, and back). You can choose which area to heat up or turn off which works great as it allows me to choose the areas I need the heat and how warm. I even wear it without having the heat setting on as the vest is well insulated and maintain your body heat. I work from home and wear it all day long. If you get cold easily like me and looking to keep warm, this heated vest is worth purchasing. Note you need to purchase the power pack separately.

Bought this for my husband and he is obsessed with it! So we got one for my grandpa also! They work outside all the time and this vest is a game changer for them.Good quality, perfect fit, he says it fits true to size, and he completely recommends this to anyone who is looking at it.

It works well but in order to turn off the heat, the battery must be disconnected which can be a bit of a problem if say, trying to drive a car or carrying things. It is quite warm, though, even when not plugged in. The battery lasts more hours than I have needed to use it, but I also do layer up with it on very cold days in Michigan, meaning below zero. I have not had to wash it, yet, so hopefully that goes well enough.

I got this for my dad to use in the cold dialysis unit. The back and collar are too warm as he sits in a chair for 3hrs, but he uses the front warmer. It's great to be able to choose easily with the chest patch switch, which also controls the heat levels. I also chose this because you can use a regular power bank/ battery with USB-C instead of the proprietary battery pack needed in other vests. It has an inside pocket to place and connect battery. I bought a 30,000mAh, but you could get by with 10,000 easily. It is also very lightweight and not too warm with heaters off, which works well in California where it is mild and even warm when he gets out. This has worked really well. Also be aware that I chose one with switch on left side because he cant bend his left arm to turn it on. He's very happy with this vest.

I bought this best for a Christmas gift in October. It didn't fit and now I can't return it. The return date was only for 30 days. I won't be buying from this company anymore!

Heats up great, fits small so size up. I so wanted to love this, and I do like it but the heating element does NOT turn off even when I click it to off. It will only stop heating when I unplug the battery pack. Does not seem safe to me so I'm returning.
Ooh, shiny gadget.

While SoCal doesn't get the cold that the east coast gets, it can still be pretty chilly -- especially with the cold spell that is currently passing through the area. For me a heavy coat is a bit of overkill to wear only in the morning to walk my dog, but a normal vest isn't quite enough to keep me warm.My solution is the DOACE Heated Vest for Women and Men. This vest has three heat zones and a bunch of heated pads. The zones are controllable from the buttons on the front lapel. The three zones are the upper back, lower back, and front. The upper back is the most effective as that sits tightly against your body, including on your neck if you pull the zipper all the way up. The lower back is also pretty effective. The front zone is really useful if you keep your hands in your pocket. They serve as hand warmers.Be aware that the battery pack is not included with this vest. I provided my own 10000 mAh battery pack and keeping it on high for my walk, I'm able to get about 2 - 3 hours out of the pack. I charge my pack about once every two to three days. With this vest, I turn it on in the morning while preparing the dog for the walk so that it warms up, which takes about 5 minutes and when I go out, the chill doesn't get me. By the middle of my walk, I actually turn down the heat because my body has warmed up. By the middle of the day, the heat is no longer needed but the vest still serves provides enough warmth. I like having the option to control the heat when it's needed. I also keep an extra USB cable in my battery pocket in case my phone needs charging. There is one quirk about this vest though: If you press the middle power button, you toggle between the 3 power levels for all three zones, but a fourth press will turn off the lights. This does NOT turn off the vest. You need to HOLD the power button until the lights go off or your vest will continue drawing power. It was odd when I thought that I turned off the vest but still felt heat coming from the pads. So make sure you hold to turn off the vest or your battery will be drained.
