This 3-inch clamp was exactly what I needed to support a heavy cast iron stack while replacing the lower section with PVC. It fit perfectly around the stack, tightened down securely with the included bolts, and gave me a solid anchor point for the supports underneath. Once everything was in place, I was able to cut out the old section below without worrying about the stack shifting.Weeks later, it's still holding strong with no issues. Definitely an outstanding part and way harder to find in local stores than you’d think. If you need a solid, reliable clamp for a heavy stack, this is the one to get!

First ordered 2 of the same item, got 2 different items. They then sent me a defective replacement for the wrong one they sent the first time. One of the 5/8" bolts was stripped and 1 of 4 holes was too small, so that I had to thread the bolt through the hole. Rather than return it for the second time and go through another wait, I bought another bolt and a $32 drill bit to ream out the undersized hole. The hole was actually tapered and the wider side was elongated, as if it the material had been bent.
