I am a beginner. My niece wanted converse for prom and I made an outrageous assertion that I could customize them to go with her dress. I needed a variety of purples and greens in order to match. The thread was great quality compared to what I had been using. I loved the variety of colors.

I am embroidering little bibs, gowns, and onesies for my first granddaughter, and my selection of floss was pitiful. I first ordered a different brand of thread from someone else, and sent it right back. This floss is just right. It gives me a wide selection of colors, and it divides into 3 strands or 2 strands without snarling. It is easy to work with, smooth as butter, and has a subtle sheen that is deeply satisfying. Highly recommended.

Loved the collection of threads but felt it to be an extravagant, once only purchase as they were very expensive. I am doubtful about the many lower priced products as I know of the very good reputation of DMC embroidery threads. I hope I put them to good use now that I have started sewing again
