I decided to try this out because I don't have a sander in this form factor. I do a lot of 3d printing projects and this helps get into hard to reach places. The dust collection isn't really effective, but I didn't really expect a passive system to be. I'm not sure how reliable or long lasting this tool will be, but it meets my needs and came with an assorment of grits to get you started.

Works as it should. It sands well. You just plug it in and get to sanding. The sanding pads work like they should. It's not too loud. The price is fitting.

OK. I am a DIY Queen. So, lets talk about this DLS03A Detail Sander I was given to test. This tool is great for those who love to do arts and crafts or work on projects at home. First off, this sander has a strong motor that at12,000 rpm so it is great for those who are looking to smooth out all sorts of surfaces, like wood and metal. One of the coolest things about this sander is that it can fit into small and tricky places where other sanders can’t go.It’s really light, weighing only about as much as a big book, which makes it easy to hold and use. The handle is made of rubber, so it doesn’t slip out of your hands, even if you’re working for a long time. Plus, it has a special system that collects dust, which keeps your workspace clean. You can even connect it to your vacuum cleaner to suck up the dust, which is a big bonus.Changing the sandpaper is super easy too. It has a sticky bottom that lets you swap out the sandpaper quickly, so you can get back to your project without wasting time. The sander comes with 12 pieces of sandpaper—six rough ones for heavy work and six smooth ones for finishing touches. It also includes a tool to help with dust and a manual with instructions. The cord is 36 inches, so without being cordless, it is pretty convenient.But, there are a couple of things you should know. This sander can be pretty noisy, especially when it’s going fast. I’m really happy with this handheld sander! It’s lightweight and easy to hold, which makes detailed sanding so much easier. The motor is powerful and it handles wood and steel with no problem. I love that it can get into tight spaces, and the rubber grip is comfortable. The dust collection system works well, and I can even hook it up to a vacuum for cleaner work. The sandpaper changes quickly with the hook-and-loop system, and it comes with 12 pieces. It’s been a great tool for my projects, and I highly recommend it!
