It’s perfect for a small party! I loved how it goes with the music perfectly. The lights are awesome and it’s very easy to use! I recently bought it so I’m not too sure how long it will last, but for now it’s great! I would definitely recommend. It comes with a charger, and much more to place it wherever you want it to. It’s also small enough to take it anywhere you want! Definitely worth the money

This is a cool little light and works really well- it was pretty cheap so I was worried- but it does a great job!

This is an excellent purchase for the price. I had no idea that it would contain a built in rechargeable battery, but it actually arrived somewhat charged. You can connect it to your usb port to fully charge it. A light turns from red to green when the charge is completed. There is a small amount of assembly to connect the light to it's mounting base, While there are some instructions in the box, no tools are required and a look at the mounting parts will probably be enough for you to figure out how to do that. The price has actually gone DOWN since I purchased my first unit a year back. It's inexpensive enough that you might consider buying 2 so that you can combine the lighting effects which adds to the fun.I quickly discovered that not only can you control these lights with the enclosed remote, but apparently the control chip is rather universal. I found my tv remote could change light modes by pointing to the device, once I figured that out I considered that to be a convenient option. I suppose most people will prefer the enclosed remote as it's organized in function control and requires no experimentation to figure things out. It's really very straight forward. The lights are fun, bright enough to see even in a room with lights, so I would say most people should be quite happy using this in a dark room. The options of combining red and green lasers with an additional dimmer spot light give you some flexibility according to your state of mind. There are also some audio sensitive modes, and a flashing option. A little tip.... If you use the audio sensitive modes, having your lasers close to your speakers is a key thing. The response effect is much more fun. And again, at this price (no I'm not working for these guys!) consider buying 2, they are really inexpensive, and our little busy brains enjoy the extra interplay.

Like most of these devices turning them side ways isn’t easy. The reason sideways is needed in Apple user cases is that if apps turn screens from portrait to landscape, projectors, tv’s and monitors don’t make the change following iPads change. Putting the iPad in locked landscape mode doesn’t work either.I managed to get this one to turn side ways with some add on sticky feet and removing the supplied stand. I use surveillance cameras whose apps change the screen from portrait to landscape. The brightness is okay as is the picture quality.

It's fine, it's small, the price is good. Two issues for me:1) Red and Green lasers, NOT Blue (implied by RGB)2) You can't choose a pattern. I was disappointed to find out that it will just rotate through a bunch of patterns. There's no way to lock into a pattern (if there is, the instructions don't reflect that).
