3 stopped working in a month. Nothing that the seller can be responsible for, they just sell the same dropshipped stuff... it's just cheap.these displays have the column " : "no dot, even though you see it on the plastic

Needed different coloured displays for a project, very happy to find a set of 5 different colours for a similar price to kits of all one colour. All displays worked well, no flicker (hint: don't run a clear() before every showNumber()).I find the blue is much brighter than the other colours, on the lowest brightness it is comparable to the others at half brightness. Was hoping to use the decimal points, but it seems these are not actually populated on the 7 segment module. If anyone here got them working, do let me know, but the usual Arduino library TM1637Display.h only shows the colon when using bitmask 0b01000000, and no other bitmask has worked to enable the DPs. Not a show stopper for my project, but was planning to use the decimals.

I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but out of the gate the red and green would turn off after a few minutes of running, with the few minutes turning into a few seconds and eventually not coming on at all.Within a couple of days the yellow and blue had also stopped working after being running. At this point only the white is still working. This was all running at the lowest brightness, because these are BRIGHT, and look very nice when they work. Codewise they're pretty easy to work with (though more expensive I2C drivers have more features). The decimal points don't work, but that's a known thing with these if they have a colon.Bonus star because the customer support was friendly and responsive and even changed some wording in the product description to make what you're buying clearer for future customers.I'm probably just gonna refund these and either try a different supplier, or maybe one of those fancy i2c boards. But if you're willing to risk potentially iffy batches, they're actually pretty great.

The periods are not connected and cannot be used. This is false advertising to show periods on the device and they do not work.

Love the larger size and different colors. Otherwise a direct replacement for the smaller TM1637

These displays look great. My biggest complaint is that the boards come with color selections screen printed on the back of the boards but none of them were checked off. In my project, the color matters and I needed to order 3 sets. Connecting 15 boards to check their colors was a waste of my time. But I did notice that the 7 segment display components had part numbers on them that tattled on what colors they were. I show what I'm talking about in the attached picture but will detail that here. For my displays, the number is printed on the bottom of the 4 digit 7 segment part. The part number is formatted like so: ####BG for GREEN, ####BS-1 for RED, ####BY for YELLOW, ####BB for BLUE, and ####BW for WHITE. Now keep in mind that since this is a subcomponent of the overall display, this formatting may change over time or if these particular parts get changed out for one from a different supplier. I should also note for completeness in my experience, I noticed that some of these parts had extra numbers following the letters identifying the colors of the display but these extra digits didn't seem to show an affect of color tones between the units with the extra digits and without.I should also note that these are for time displays so the decimal points aren't active, only the : time separator. I'm using these in ESPhome, so when formatting the print statement in yaml, I had to use the . (period) as a time separator for the display to show HH:MM format. These came with no connections soldered to the boards and I loved that. They came with a set of 8 angled header pins in the package. I plan on using these eventually with other projects but it's nice they were included if you needed to use them.

For what these are worth, they are great LED displays! I got the 5 color variant; there were 5 colors, however, the green LED display was replaced with an orange one (?) and unfortunately didn't work as properly (the others worked perfectly fine), highlighting the top of the segments and diverting little power to the rest. The parts come with two ports for pins (Also included) that need to be soldered on, so a little assembly is required, but the dual ports was a nice surprise since it allows for flexibility in how it is set up. Easy set-up with only four pins, and the brightness is very easy to notice (especially on the white display). If it wasn't for the one display that wouldn't function, this would have been perfect!

I love that nothing was soldiered already, several others I tried had the pins soldiered on the wrong side of the board when they arrived, and so it ruined them to remove them. These were WAY cheaper than the original 3packs I ordered from Banggood. The worked perfectly for my project.

I just got these after about 2 weeks (China pkg), which was quicker than estimated. 5 displays, all one color (I ordered blue) they are the typical 1/2" high 7 segment displays. I fired one up on my Arduino Uno and it worked fine, had a nice pleasant blue color. For the price these are a good deal.
