Features:

This Linkage Mechanism is an automatic constantly reciprocating linear actuator motor, which frequency is Variable.

This machine output in an axle, the run speed on axis is Non-uniform. If require speed uniform please don't bid.

This machine is Non-standard manual production, the surface is rough. If require surface precise please don't bid.

The speed faster, the noise louder. If require quietly, please be careful before bid.

Linear motion part is consist of sliding linear ball bearing and steel axle. Axle need adds lubricating oil at regular intervals, in order to limited axle temperature less than 90 degrees, and oil wetness.

Due to rotating lump is affected by gravity, the machine go and back speed is different.

If you want to control speed, you can add a PWM DC motor speed controller for this.

Warning: Speed higher than 100rpm has very small force, the load larger then maximum force will break gearbox. Clear all barriers before operating the motor, even use your hand holding the shaft may break the motor. Please do accord to our advices for avoid unnecessary trouble!!!! Many customers have already broken the gears inside without proper operation, it causes much trouble.

This linear actuator and dc motor is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for my project. Anybody know the size of the bearing? I want to replace it with a plastic one to make it quieter. RJMP-01-08 fit the shaft but OD was to wide.

This rotation to translation mechanism was used to calibrate the acceleration vs. the voltage output of an accelerometer. This particular unit runs at a low rpm speed using a geared motor.Ashtonishly, the mechanism is well built and the offset circular to linear linkage offers three different radius positions which allows three different linear displacements. We purchased (separately) a 550 rpm motor that fit the apparatus to allow for a faster rpm.You and your students will enjoy using this mechanism. The physics behind the relationship between rotation angle and translation is fastenating.

The linear bearings used in this are impressively low quality, and they have the most play I've ever seen in a bearing. That said, the actuator does do its job and moves back and forth repeatedly. You'll want to add additional linear constraints if those are important for your application. I stopped using this after 4 days because the play in the linear bearings became too significant for my jig, so I don't have a good sense of overall lifetime.

The actuator works perfectly, and can be adjusted in speed using a DC Motor Speed Control Potentiometer. But note that the chart in the description images is misleading: suggesting a wide range of speeds in RPM. The motor only operates at 15 RPM with max 12 V. I measured my linear actuator and it is actually running at 30 RPM, so a 2 second period of fore-aft vibration. A Potentiometer can slow that down, but you won't get the hundreds of RPMs suggested in the table. I am not sure why they even include that whole misleading info in the description currently.

Very weak motor. You get what you pay for. Bogs down easily.

This product does precisely what it claims to and does it well. I’ve been using it 24/7 for about a week now and doesn’t show any signs of stopping. With a 12v 2a power supply driving it, the motor stays cool to the touch even under load. I will say, it can be quite noisy under load so you definitely don’t want this operating in a noise-sensitive area. All in all, it does an excellent job and is built rock-solid!
