We occasionally have guests stay with us for extended periods of time. We wanted to find an inflatable bed that was comfortable enough to sleep on for 7-10 days when needed. We picked this one up to try and it's awesome.Inflation is quick and easy with the built-in pump. Same for deflation. Turn the knob to deflate and it expels all the air quickly.It's quite tall compared to many inflatable beds. Almost tall enough to pass off as a real bed when hidden under sheets and a comforter.Some have talked about a smell when first taken out of packaging. We noticed this but it wasn't a big deal. We like to setup and inflate our guest beds a day or two before they arrive to ensure there's no unknown air leaks before they find out the hard way in the middle of the night. Setting it up early meant the odor was long gone by the time it was used.Guests didn't complain about aches or pains the morning after, so that's a good thing. The mattress itself is nice and sturdy and should last a long time if stored and used properly.Pro tip for those that use inflatables for guests often: Get a matching size 2-3 inch foam topper to put on it. This gives the bed a more luxury feel and also provides a good deal of insulation from a cold air mattress in the winter.

The self-inflation and deflation feature is another major plus. With the simple push of a button, the mattress inflates or deflates in just 3 minutes. This is a huge time-saver and makes the process of setting up or packing away the mattress quick and easy. I expected to lay on this and sink. That did not happen. In just a few minutes I had a mattress that did not feel like an air mattress. I left it inflated for a few days to test it and then, in just a few minutes, I deflated it and store it. Overall a great mattress and solid for the price.

I am so happy to have this air mattress! It's unlike any I've had in the past, which cost a lot more than this one. DIVON really thought of everything--like having a built-in pump that couldn't be easier to use for inflating and deflating, and providing a handy compartment for storing the cord right next to the pump. They also provide a handy storage bag to help protect the mattress and make it easier to carry.I'm sure my overnight guests will appreciate how comfortable this mattress is. My husband and I tested it, and we noticed that it did not have any slumps that caused either of us to roll toward the other. It was quite nice and just like sleeping on a regular basis. We also really like how high this mattress is--about 15 inches. It did not feel like we were sleeping on a mattress on the floor, and we could sit comfortably on the edge as you would on a bed.When I plugged it in, the pump came on immediately, but nothing happened. It arrived with the dial turned to Deflate, so before you plug it in, check to the dial to be sure it is in the Off position. Once I turned the dial to Inflate, it took only two minutes to fill completely. The mattress was a little too hard for me at that point, so I deflated it just a bit to make it softer. My full-size sheets fit perfectly, and I had a very comfy place to sleep. When you finish with the mattress, simply pull out the cord from its storage compartment, plug it in, turn the knob to Deflate to remove all the air, and then return the knob to Off. The user manual includes directions on how to refold the mattress for storage and offers additional tips for cleaning and maintenance (such as removing the sheet when you aren't using the mattress).Three things before you get started--1. Directions say to read the directions first. Once you remove the mattress from the box (or bag?) you should let it sit for an hour before inflating it. You also should be sure the temperature of the room/area is at least 68 degrees F.2. This mattress does have a slight unpleasant PVC odor, which the directions promise will go away after a few days. I suggest setting it up several days before you plan to use it to help ensure a pleasant night's sleep. I put a sheet on it right away, and the sheet now has the same smell to it. I've not had mine up for more than about 24 hours, so I can't verify that a few days will do the trick.3. DIVON seems to be focused on quality and customer service. They provide a telephone number and an e-mail address for their customer service department, which is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST, and they promise fast resolution to issues and provide info for locating and patching any leaks. (They include one patch.)
