I previously had a CP model unit that looks to have been manufactured in 2020. The old unit was no longer pumping water due to a broken motor. The motor ended up sparking and smoking, and a replacement was quickly ordered. The old unit was replaced with the newer 2024 model of the CP ULTRA version, and this looks to be a perfect replacement of the older version. Install was easy and quick, and so far has been running smoothly. Does make noise when the motor turns on to pump the water out, but this is not a constant sound. Honestly, hearing it kick on is a little bit of piece of mind, as I couldn’t hear the old unit at all - probably because the motor wasn’t working! Would recommend if you’re needing a replacement! I like the new translucent design of the newer ULTRA design too.

I actually used this for remote sink drain pump. It works great when I was not able to run regular drain plumbing - just used 1/2" PEX from the pump to the nearest drain line. The flow rate and reservoir size were just right. My only comment is that it would be nice to have a normally open switch instead of a normally closed switch which is used in a reservoir overflow situation to shut off whatever appliance is producing the water. The normally open switch option would allow for an alarm to go off in the overflow situation.
