Can't say I am thrilled with these.I had thought since the listing title mentioned non-slip, that the felt would have some kind of backing to it, or that it would at least be waterproofed on the back (since these are potty training mats meant to form "an effective protective barrier"). However, these are just thin felt sheets. They have no backing, slip very easily on my tile bathroom floor (not non-slip at all), and just let any pee that doesn't make it to the toilet absorb right down to whatever is underneath. These don't protect the floor at all. They just absorb whatever splashes down to make the floor wet anyway. You have to change them each major potty use, and either wash or toss them. As well as still clean the floor underneath where the pee leaks down.At most these are anti pee migrating mats. If your house is uneven the pee will absorb down to the floor only near the toilet, and not run in the direction the house is sagging. These also keep the pee from traveling along the seam of the toilet and the floor, so that's about the only real bonus they serve in my house right now.A regular washable toilet rug placed around the toilet would serve the same "non-slip" function, give your boy toddler more padding while standing there, and do a better job of absorbing the pee before it really wets down to the floor. If you get a toilet rug with rubber backing, you wouldn't even have the slipping issues or the leaking to the floor issues, and would just have to wash the rug.Maybe if you triple these thin felt sheets up it would start to add some padding and protective power, but that would then triple the slipping issues.I will not be getting these again. They don't work for our little boy's potty time issues at all, and for the price listed I really do not suggest them. Just get a toilet rug with rubber backing.

These really are just pieces of felt with a U-shaped cutout to fit underneath the toilet. There is no rubber or anything sticky to make this non-slip. And since this is made from felt, there is nothing absorbent about it. Disappointing.
