These masks do not protect you 100% from viruses,You might say, "duh" well in that case these masks do not protect you 75% from viruses.They are very flimsy, but I believe they are good for just going out to the store, or in a not-very-crowded place since these masks are "meh".Also, I'd like to add that if you pull on them too hard they break.

Very satisfied with this purchase. I don't believe in the mask hype anymore but currently in a MAT program, where I'm required to mask up before I can dose. I tossed all my fabric masks after getting the vaccine, under the impression this pandemic was about to end. I was in dire need of multiple disposable masks, as I refuse to pay retail prices for disposable masks.These masks have really came though! I've put a pack in each car & bagged up some individuals for my purse. They fit comfortably & still allow me to breath easily.I definitely recommend these disposable maks if you're in the need. They are cheap, decent quality (none have broken), & comfortable! 5 out of 5 stars! Worth every penny!

Some of the reviews say the mask is only one layer - which is NOT true. It DOES feel thin, yes, but if you hold it up to the light and rub the mask between your fingers you can clearly see its 3 layers - the outside, the melt-blown filter in the middle, and the inside. You can also physically pull the layers apart , or cut one open if you really wanted to to check (they're pretty affordable and you get a pack of 100, so it wouldn't hurt to). I DID feel kind of sketched out because of how thin it was, but did the lighter test (where you try to blow out a lighter while wearing the mask) and it passed just fine. The elastics are SUPER comfortable, its a thin, flat elastic which I prefer over the round elastics. They don't fold my ears over and make my ears hurt. Plus, I find breathing in these very easy compared to others made from cheaper materials I have unfortunately come across. Overall VERY good mask for the price. If I find my opinion of these has changed, I will be back to edit my review. I take the health and safety of others VERY seriously and would not want to put anyone in any sort of danger.EDIT:Have tried the water test (making sure the mask is still rigid when holding water, also making sure no water leaks through) AND the burn test (took the middle layer out and held it to a flame, ideally the material melts instead of burning) and it passed BOTH of them.After wearing the masks a couple times, I am pleased with how well they're made, but they fit rather small on my face. It's not TOO bad, but I find myself touching my face more to lift it back up after I talk. Something to consider. I still very much like this product though, and will be leaving it at 5 stars.
