I have bought a couple of different brands of these and was very disappointed in my choice this time. Very flimsy and a couple of the sponges came off the stick. Don’t use this option. There are many other to choose from.

These didn’t work for the purpose intended, they were way too soft. I use them to help moisten my mom’s mouth and clean the food off her teeth but they were too soft. She was easily able to bite off a piece of the sponge. She has advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and bedbound. I can’t take a chance of her swallowing sponge pieces. I returned and went with a different brand

This has been a great solution for a child with sensory issues. Something about the bristles of a toothbrush were intolerable. We use the oral swabs with kid's mouthwash as a substitute for a toothbrush with bristles.
