I'm really surprised that this switch got such a high rating, it definitely has serious compatibility issues. I wanted to switch between my work Dell laptop connected through an extension Dell hub and my home PC. Whenever I switched the signal to my laptop, the monitor would randomly flicker, sometimes as often as every few seconds. Obviously, everything worked fine when I connected the cable directly to my monitor. Interestingly, when I switched to my PC (ASUS Motherboard display port), the connection seemed to work reliably.I thought that the switch was defective and requested a replacement. The replacement exhibited precisely the same behavior. I experimented a bit more and connected the switch to the second display port on the hub of my laptop, and the monitor started cycling on and off every 2 seconds, making it completely unusable. Everything works fine if I connect the cable to my second port directly to the monitor. So, the issue is definitely with the hub. It works with some hardware but has compatibility issues with others, such as Dell, in my case.

Working as expected, but honestly it's so much easier to have two screens. I'd want to use this for something more discrete, for example switching to a security camera array, but perhaps you don't want to leave that on the screen 24/7.I think this kind of thing also needs a remote too, rather than having to dig around behind the computer for wherever this joiner has fallen to.

This little device does exactly what I wanted it to do and what was described in the item advertisement. It says it's a C-USB, so I was a little worried that I'd have to purchase a C-USB port because all of mine are regular USB ports. However, the C part plugs into the device with the included USB cord and the other end is standard USB.

My first complaint was that it came without any cables, but the problem was solved immediately. I received one with cables, and I plugged it in, and it seems to work fine. I don't have a high-end PC, so for my use, it is amazing. The company seems like they truly care for their customers and product.

It does what it says! I personally couldn't test it at such a high refresh rate as others have, but it works fine on my 4k 60hz screen.The only problem is the button being on top with no remote. That means you need to keep your cables fully accessible so you can reach the button to switch inputs. I much prefer a remote button so I can hide the cables neatly away.

I paid 2x as much for one of these that flickered constantly and was told I needed to use shorter DisplayPort cables. Or, I could return that garbage and buy this one for way less! It works perfectly so far. Hopefully that’ll be the case for awhile. It’s simple and does what it says it does.

This does exactly as intended. I only have one DP output on my screen and was finding it a pain to keep switching DP cables daily to change between my work laptop dock (working from hone) and my personal gaming PC. This device allows me to plug both devices in and switch between the two at the press of a button. My gaming rig also runs at 144Hz, 4K with is device no issue, although I've not tried 3D mode to prove that as I don't use 3D. Note this item does not include any DP cables with it, so I did have to purchase an additional short DP cable in order to connect it to my screen, but never the less, I highly recommend this DP splitter.

Can't day it's bad it did not work for me due to my screens this was a very technical purchase and I have to say I knew no better so I bought the incorrect product
