This is a powerful, easy-to-use vacuum that has a great about of versatility! I had an older model for years that was great for stairs, but a bit awkward to use. But this new design is easier to hold and work with, plus there’s no messy bag to deal with. It has an easy-open canister area that empties directly into your trash. And, you can rinse out the reusable filter. The only drawback I see is the cord — it’s only 15 feet, but I can just add an extension cord when needed. This is one product that really sucks (in a good way!).

After buying 2 Cordless Dysons and 4 batteries over the last 5 years. I’m done with expensive cordless. This little vacuum is way more powerful than anything battery powered. If it breaks, I don’t care. I could buy 25 of these things for what I’ve spent on cordless. Cable is long and not pretty when stowed but then again. It’s inexpensive. Powered rotary attachment works great on short carpet. Filter is messy to clean but it works.

Have not used it long but very pleased with it at this point. Nice suction, like the built in crevice tool, strong vacuum. Not super light weight which seems reasonable since it appears well made. Have not had to empty the trash cup yet.

LIght weight handheld vacuum that works great. Comes with 3 different attachments that are very easy to change. The vacuum's cord is long enough to move around most rooms. It has worked really well getting the pet hair out of the furniture and rugs.

I love this handheld vacuum! I will not buy a cordless again. The corded hand vacs seem to have much more sucking power. It is heavier than the Black and Decker I previously bought, but this one actually cleans my stairs! The crevice tool broke the 1st time I tried to pop it up (see other reviews). But it still works. I push it in the front just as it says. It cleaned the edges of my stairs today. It's the cleanest my stairs have been since we moved into this house. I have 6 kids (3 girls) and 2 dogs, so I need a great vacuum. I highly recommend this Dirt Devil!

and it worked out perfectly. Easy to use around corners and very light as I am no longer a spring chicken.

not a terible vacuum, actully has pretty good suction but several design problems.1. small capacity and needs to be emptied very often, not a big deal, kind of expected in a small vac.2. the exhaust air blows out the sides at a 90-degree angle and blows the dust you're trying to pick up all over the place!! this one sucks!3. the carpet brush is not adjustable and is set so high it just flings dust all over!4. the big one, the flip down nozzle, the one you need to flip up and down a zillion times is attached with a tiny(about 1/16" in diameter) lug on each side that broke off after about 3 months of intermittent use

Corded means power when you want it, as long as needed; and the unit won't be landfill trash due to an exhausted battery that cannot be replaced. Compared to two non-corded handheld vacuums I tested: best suction. The cord is about 18 feet long; good for small jobs. I vacuumed our stairs from each direction. Cat litter - no problem. Love the built-in crevice tool. HOWEVER, the crevice tool is very difficult to snap-out of it's nook. Even my husband nearly lost a fingertip because it takes enormous pull, then flies open faster than one can let go. Ouch! And it swings / hinges on plastic-pegs. One has already broken off. Fortunately, the pegs/hinges are not needed to use the tool. To make the tool easy to access, one can file down the plastic prongs and then apply self-adhesive velcro to hold the tool in it's nook.
