After a few years one of our remotes stopped working and we purchased this as a replacement. It is exactly like the one that came with our DirecTv system when we got it and we've been using this one for several months with no issues. I would recommend purchasing it if you need a replacement or spare.

Perfect replacement for our malfunctioning DirecTV remote. Programmed easily (just had to follow setup instructions on the TV). Also, this was an excellent value.

Very satisfied with it. I was worried about reprogramming a new remote, as the cable installer had done the first one. But the instruction sheet had very good instructions and pictures even. Only took a couple minutes to set it up. 6 bucks, how can you go wrong for that?... works just like the original one.

We got a new receiver from Direct TV. Same as the old model. But one of our 2 remotes wouldn't work to change inputs. DTv wanted us to pay shipping and handling to get a "free" replacemment remote, so thought we'd give this a try instead. It was straight forward and easy to program using the instructions on the tiny pamphlet that came with it. Works like it's supposed to work. Now if I can just convince my partner to cut the cable altogether...

Hook up was a snap. I had to tape the back because it did not fit snugly.I like the labels.

This replaced our original Directv remote which was falling apart. Easy to set up. In new condition. Came with batteries. Easy to program. Good buy!
