This griddle insert worked flawlessly and to my eyes, appeared to be nearly identical to the Weber original that costs nearly triple the price. I don't think it really needed to be preseasoned before use, but I chose to do it anyway. I actually used my larger grill to season it by preheating it for 10 minutes and frying a pound of bacon on it. Then wiped it down and it seems good to go!I definitely recommend this product!

The purpose of purchasing this item was to have an additional accessory for my portable "Webber Travel Grill." It is surprising that it was made to perfect fit, and heating is even and cooks throughout the whole surface. Pleased to see that works well on my grill.

Grilled onions and mushrooms cook very nice really paired well with t one about 1.75 inch thick. Best I ever made.
