Glad I found this exact replacement circuit board for our 1997 hvac system. Saved almost $900 dollars by not having an Hvac contractor replacing it. Came within 2 days..Thanks

All functioning now, however I ended up having to reuse the original plastic holder because the one supplied with the new circuit board was not correct. As received, the board itself was identical in size to the old one, but it was much too small for the plastic carrier it came attached to. As a result of the plastic frame being oversize, it offered no retention value & the board had no support, so once the assembly was mounted inside my furnace (had to nudge it into position slightly), the circuit board hung precariously from just the little black plastic rivet in the corner that holds the two together. Fortunately, my original plastic carrier from the old board was still in excellent condition and fit the replacement PC board perfectly. After swapping them, observing the static warnings and being extra careful to not break the plastic tabs, or the little black rivet (you can push the center of the 2-piece reuseable ‘rivet’ out from underneath to release it), everything went back together seamlessly. Warmth at last! I suppose I could have returned it, but after a few days spent diagnosing the issue, I was freezing my butt off, and I didn’t want to have another cold night or risk having the same fit problem with another replacement, especially considering another reviewer expressed a similar issue. Otherwise, would’ve been 5 stars. BTW, the fault with the original board was a burnt trace on the back of the board that supplies power to the main blower relay. The replacement board seems to have been beefed up a little in that area, so that’s a good thing. I checked the amperage draw on the motor to make sure it was within acceptable values on each speed and not the cause of the burnt board. That checked out fine, but the capacitor did read below the tolerance, so I replaced it while I was in there - it was under $10.

I wasn't sure at first as I told that my old furnace was beyond repair as "to many things are wrong with it" I asked like what and was told, "Just to many things, better to replace it with a new one.So I found a manual online that explained how to do a self test and it turns out, It was suggested that I replace the control board. I found this one and went for for it. Super happy I did, took about 10 minutes to replace the old with the new and my furnace is now up and running perfectly.

As we’re going into on of the potential coldest weeks of our winter, my furnace blower wasn’t turning on. After discovering the issue and calling around, the quickest I could get a board through a company was in 4 days. I checked Amazon and found this board AND over night delivery. The Board showed up this morning (I ordered it at around 5:30pm last night), matched exactly what my board looked like (but a lot cleaner), swapped the boards and furnace fired right up. Thank you guys very much!
