I tried this stuff on the lettering on my truck. I wanted black lettering, and instead of spending money on 4 new emblem kits in black, I figured I'd try this instead. I am so very pleased with how it came out. It seems very durable now that it's cured. And I have to say, taking your time with this stuff is a must. But the results are fantastic. It looks so good people thought the lettering came from the factory like this. Highly recommend.

Used this to re-finish part of the door on my car and I'm happy with the ease of use and the way it looks. Matched the original pretty well. I taped off around the strip I was going to spray but like others have said, I should have covered a wider area because the slightest bit of air movement carries the particles and they stick wherever they land, so I ended up with some "dust" on the glass and paint below, but it was fairly easy to rub off. I did have some bubbling but that was likely user error - I did have some pooling near the top where I passed over an area too many times and that's where the bubbles happened. It wasn't obvious enough for me to feel like I needed to re-do it. I'm happy to have this on hand for whenever another lacquered part of my vehicles starts to fade and wear off.

_____This went on with a nice balanced spray -I have used others that are watery and runny -The trick to a good looking application is several light thin coats -4-6 thin coats rather than 1-2 heavy coats -Wait about 15 minutes between coats if its a warm dry day -Longer between coats if its cold or damp day -_____

I really had high hopes when I ordered this that I could get my wheels to look better than they did, and they do look better than they did, but unfortunately not as good as I think they could look. I tried following all the directions, but I wonder if it was too cold when I applied this to my aluminum alloy wheels. So I don't want to judge this spray too harshly, but it left me with mixed results. One wheel turned out great, but another wheel needs to be redone. I may have clogged the nozzle, and again it was potentially too cold outside when I tried to do it.The wheel that looks good has a nice even coat and doesn't show any signs of bubbling or cracks or premature peeling, my plan is to go back and give it another try. So, I'll try to stay optimistic for now, but hopefully I can come back and edit this post in the future when I get a chance to do it again.

Disclaimer: The Performix I was using was quite old, use this information as you will.I've dipped my Model 3 door handles a few years ago and always felt like dipping was fairly difficult, granted it was my first time. Fast forward to today, I decided to remove my old crappy dip job and redo it with the remaining Performix dip and a can of this brand. I struggled for HOURS with the Performix brand, thinking it was a skill issue. There were either some debris, air bubbles, or anything you think could go wrong, went wrong. I had to redo my dip several times before I said "f*** it" and used this brand before finishing the old can. To my surprise, it wasn't a skill issue. This Brand's dip was extremely easy to work with, and instructions were clear. I was able to get two door handles dipped within a faster time frame than my one handle with the old can. However, I will dock one star because their price is slightly above market price, but nothing crazy. Ultimately, this brand isn't as flawless, as I had some hiccups also. But I had a much easier time using this brand than Performix.
