Très beau luminaire! Possibilité de mettre à plusieures longueurs et plus…. Je ne voulais pas l installer avec les chaînettes alors très facile à retirer et fixer directement les 2 tiges à la plaque au plafond 👍🏻

I replaced a ceiling mounted fluorescent tube, construction grade Island lighting fixture. The look is such an upgrade. The five lightbulbs produce great lighting for the island. I read other reviews where it was hard to install it single-handed. I was able to install it by myself as a 62 year-old woman. Once the crossbar is attached in the power box, I hung the light by a wire across the box so I could use both hands to screw in the mounting screws. Really pleased with the look, quality and value for the money.

This is a very good light fixture, however, installation is very difficult (probably the worst I have ever attempted) and takes two people. The instructions are pictures only with no text. Once I figured out how to get it together I immediately found that the two screws that attach the base ceiling plate to the junction box were too short by 1/2 inch because the junction box was recessed above the ceiling line by that amount. In essence it is designed to only fit a perfectly installed and flush junction box. Went to Home Depot and bought a 10/32 screw long enough to get the job done. After all of that I am pleased with the light. I think the support screws should have had some adjustment leeway like other fixtures that I have installed in the past. The only other complaint was that one of the holes in the wood piece that a support rod had to pass through had to be drilled out as the rod would not pass. It took an unusual sized drill bit to do that (probably a metric hole).
