Some of the thread color was off so you couldn’t read the writing clearly. I had to go back and outline the words with black.

The piece is very complicated and small for a beginner ( as it was advertised).

This is a stamped cross stitch kit. YOu get six pieces of aida canvas with designs already stamped so you do not need to look at the chart while stitching, even though the charts are included, too. The fabric is stitched very precisely, so a stamped square aligns with the fabric square very well. I see technology of stamping improved dramatically over decades, and now it is nearly perfect.YOu get six pieces of fabric, a bunch of needles, the thread on one large organizer card, so it is all sorted, but you cannot separate it between kits easily. it is a nice and fun kit. The words are readable. YOu will need to rinse off the print after you finish. Make sure you do not wet the fabric before you finish the work.

I searched for COUNTED cross stitch kits, and this says counted in the product name. What I failed to see further down in the seo garbage dump of a name is the word stamped. This IS NOT a counted kit, it is a stamped/printed kit. Super disappointing. I urge Amazon to hold this seller accountable for correcting it's inaccuracies.

These are great!! I love the book theme. It has everything you need in the kit. It was marked very well. Very easy to follow.

While I enjoyed the experience of cross-stitching for the most part, it took me so long to complete this. This was my first project, and I didn't expect it to take this long. I spent about 2 hours a day for about a month or so, so it was not really what I was hoping to accomplish, time-wise. However, I enjoy the experience and that it's complete. Am I happy with the finished product? Well, I am new to this and while washing it off gently in the end, the colors faded quite a bit. So take care with color fading, or look into how to properly wash and care to prevent that. It's a gift for my dad, and he's pretty proud of me accomplishing anything at this point, so he was content. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner who wants to start small and have multiple projects and/or less time on their hands. If you are making this as a gift for someone, or even for yourself, look into how much time you'll have to allot and then see. I spent so much time cross-stitching, I barely read!
