Mine came assembled and I thought all was good until I got an error on my inverter about a wiring issue. I checked all the connectors starting at the roof. When I got to the breaker I disconnected it and heard a piece of metal hit the floor. Same with the next connector. The MC4 terminals on these are junk and they fell apart. Thankfully, I had extra wire and terminals, remade them and then reassembled. The error went away and all has been working flawlessly since.

I received this 60 amp unit. Looks okay, it has the MC-4 connectors mounted in the box along with a few more for cables, and a removal tool (blue).All in the same box. So..........I take one of THEIR MC-4 connectors and snap it on THEIR box, and try using THEIR removal tool and it doesn't fit. Can they make this harder?It has two sets of identical prongs. If I put one prong in, the other prong is totally outside the connector. We're talking 3/16" not a smidge.Remember, these all came in the same box.So my project comes to a screeching halt until I find the correct tool or use a couple tiny screwdrivers. Aaghhhhhh!

The quality of the housing seems good. It's all plastic but that's fine, you don't want it to be metal or you could electrocute yourself.The MC4 connectors on each side were not perfectly straight so I had to bend them a little to get my wires in.Tested the input and outputs for continuity and it all checked out. Everything came wired correctly.

Added Solar to the RV, this component adds a safety feature and a disconnect from panels to controller. Will buy again if needed

The build quality seems legit.Makes the process easy with the plug in harness. No need for any internal wiring.

I previously gave this product a bad review but found out that it was largely due to user (me) error. I was able to connect my solar connections to the input & output without much issue. I did do as another reviewer states and altered the polarities as these do come reversed. I haven't been able to see it trigger but I'm able to properly shut the power off with the switch. My only complaint is just to provide an easier way to contact the manufacturer for questions and problems. When something doesn't work as intended it can be very disheartening to see how difficult it will be to initiate contact.

I was happy to see that it came preassembled. The screws used to affix the cover to the base are cheap and were screwed in way too tight. One of the screws was in so tight that I ended up stripping the head and had to drill it out.
