I got this air fuel ratio gauge to use on my small truck. I needed to replace the O2 sensor to begin with. This will now allow me to see the specific ratio with the lighted gauge. This will greatly aid me in troubleshooting running issues. It is easy to install and mount. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to see how their air fuel ratio is while driving.

In previous race cars I've typically used an Innovate LC-1 or Autometer wideband, but those cost real money for something that's essentially a toy. Running a carb'd engine at different altitudes (high desert to sea level) means a wideband is handy to see if it's time to change jets. Yes, you can look at plugs, but a gauge is so much quicker. No issues with this one, I installed into a bung I welded into my header collector, ran wires, and it fired right up. I tested it against my old Innovate Motorsports LM-2 and it matched to 0.1 AFR, so I'd call that good! Hard to beat for the money!

Tuning is so much easier and safer for your motor when you can see the AFR. If the directions were better, I would have rated at 5 stars.

I like that this o2 sensor sits flush with the end of the weld in bung when installed. It does not protude into the exhaust pipe. I am installing this on an older motorcycle to set the mechanical carburetor jetting to maximize fuel mileage and performance. My pipe is 1.5Inch in diameter so I did not want anything restricting flow any more than needed. The kit instructions state the O2 sensor will take accurate readings when just mounted flush with the end of the bung. The bung has to be welded in and they give you a plug to install if you want the sensor out. The sensor comes calibrated to the gage. The instructions state do not power anything. up until everything is plugged in and in place or a base recalibration will be required. They do tell you how to do that. The probe will work with methanol, gasoline, and CNG (compressed natural gas). It will display AFR or Lambda which you can choose by using micro switches on the back of the display. The harnesses are long enough for my application. THe sensor can also be downstream of the exhaust valve 30 inches and still function accurately. The gauge is made to go in a dash hole or gauge bracket. They give you an angled bezel -see photos- and a steel u bracket to hold the gauge in. The key to this working well is the welding of the bung leaving no leaks and angled so the O2 sensor sits at a 10 degree or more angle upwards so moisture can not accumulate on the tip of the sensor when the exhaust cools down.

This is a wide band air fuel ratio meter. Wanted one of these. Makes tuning simpler. Will have to weld to install if you don’t already have an O2 sensor installed. Good find.

I wanted to start tuning my Tahoe but needed a Wideband to do so. Seems to work well to give me readings and I can tap off it for the serial port on my tuner to gather the data. Accuracy seems good enough for my needs. Not quite up to par with an AEM but the functionality is just fine.

Good wideband and it does work. For the price it cannot be beat. I was able to get it wired in and visible in HPTuners, helped me dial in my tune.
