I liked the clarity of this digital voice recorder and how convenient it is that it is rechargeable. I didn’t likeFinding that it has no stop button as advertised in the picture on Amazon. In its place is a save button. There are pauses with the record and play buttons only. Most recorders turn off automatically when reaching the end of a file that is playing. Instead once this one reaches the end of a file, it runs back into thePrevious file in a continuous loop, replaying both files nonstop. Usually a recorder should be in stop mode before turning off the power, but I am forced to turn it off during that continuous loop. Afraid it will be damaging but no choice.

This recorder works incredibly well. I was skeptical because of the low price, but it works. It can even pick up soft talkers and whispering to some extent. This is perfect for recording a lecture.It's also very user friendly. I did need to skim the manual, but was up and running in a matter of a couple of minutes.I could not figure out how to get auto recording to work and the manual states that it is not recommended to use this feature. I believe the feature is probably there, but maybe not. It might have been disabled.Pros:- The manual claims it will record for 30 hours on the default settings.- Intuitive interface- Intuitive manual- Incredibly sensitive and able to pick up soft talkers and to some extent whispering- Very small. Even the videos didn't give it justice on it's size. It's tiny.Cons:- Auto record either doesn't exist or is difficult to figure outI can't speak on durability though, but I did drop it from 3 feet on to concrete the first day. Ugh, thought at that low of a price it would break, but it did not!

This is a wonderful little recorder! It seems like a little toy yet the sound is quite excellent! It also has wonderful features like online recording which can also work as an external auxiliary mic. Plus the sound really is stereo! At some point I'll come back with a short follow-up recording of the sound quality. The fact that it's so small is a plus because it's so light and portable, though it's does have a front and back metal case so it feels solid in a small hand. It took me awhile to learn how to navigate the settings because the manual was not super clear. But I figured there's not that many knobs so there can't be that much to figuring it out out. Overall, Great technology! (You can also change the speed on the recording and it has an equalizer.)I want to add 1 more thing. In order to not hear a loud clicking sound on the recordings, I'm using an external mic. Otherwise yes, the clicking sounds are extremely loud. With the external mic the recording are of good quality.

I was really surprised by how well this little device works. Great sound for such a small size. It unfortunately feels somewhat cheaply made. BUT it works well and the sound quality for this price is worth it. I am satisfied my money was spent well.

Good little product. Sound is very good on items recorded. A little confusing on how to use properly, i.e. stop, rewind, forward, play specific recording etc.

My fiance got me this when I started back to college so I could record my lectures. It was the best recorder I think I've ever used for school. The clarity of sound when listening to playbacks is top notch. The mic might actually be too good because you can hear everything from someone taking their foot against their desk to someone rustling in their book bag on the other side of the room. It was kind of crazy. However, the lecture was equally easy to hear. The mic was able to pick up questions from other students who spoke quietly and were not near to where I was seated.I love the fact that if you get a micro USB to USB-C cable, you can directly download the recordings to your phone so you can use your earphones because this isn't a Bluetooth recorder (if you have a phone that has USB-C, otherwise you'd need whatever cable goes to your specific phone). I've had this recorder for a year now and it's still performing like the first day. I even got one for my daughter when she started actual college attendance. We both have ADHD, so being able to listen to lectures multiple times really helps.The other thing I love is that it is small and fits in my backpack without taking up a lot of space. It can be carried in a pocket without being noticed. I used to set it on the front of my desk at school and nobody noticed I was recording the lecture. I had a classmate that sat next to me miss class one day and asked what we covered when they came back. I asked if they'd like a copy of the lecture and even though I'd recorded every lecture, they had no clue. They thought I just had an mp3 player on my desk every day!Also worth mentioning is the battery. The battery life on this is absolutely amazing. I charged it to full before the first day of class and I only had to charge it up once or twice the entire 4 month semester, using it every class day. And it charges really fast. No need for AAA batteries with the built in rechargeable battery. That alone is a major plus in my book.So, if you're a student and like to record your lectures, I highly recommend this little recorder. It saved my life during review sessions for tests in all my classes. Record the reviews and use those recordings to tailor study time. It's great!
