AIR TEMPRETURE APPLICATION

The Temperature Sensor is placed in the radiator fin section as close to the hot coolant inlet as possible, It senses air temperature as it passes through the radiator and has an adjustable temperature range of 40ºC to 110ºC (104ºF to 230ºF).

WATER / COOLANT APPLICATION

The 0444 sensor can also be placed directly into the coolant system and no need to cut hoses. You will need to use a Temperature Sensor Adaptor Kit (Part 0409) to assist with this type of fitment. It is recommended to install the sensor in the return hose from the radiator.

UPDATE 2: Not recommended, no longer can view display and the relays turn on with ignition input. No more temp control, just instant on fan.Not recommended.____Simple unit, good labeling, good wire length.Easy to set and adjust.Unfortunately, after a few days the FAN2 relay no longer turns off. As soon as Ignition goes high/on, FAN2 relay turns on. Swapped relays to confirm if bad/stuck relay. It appears to be the controller. At least the fans turn on, unlike my Flexalite that stopped working entirely.Using with a Derale 17" High Output 2-speed fan to emulate a "soft-start" (Low>High)

Working great and still going , l ordered more , great little controller. If we could make the sending unit lead longer it would be a game changer then it could be put under the dash and more. I would pay more if they did.

The ECU on my car lost the reference circuit to control the cooling fans. I didn't want to straight them so I searched and found this. It was easy to install, setup and wire. It has been doing a better job controlling my cooling fans than the ECU. I will save up and replace the ECU but for now this is saving a lot of money. Great item, works great, well worth the money. This would work great on a custom setup (Hot Rod, Restomod, etc.). It even controls the fans when I use the A/C.

So far working. Wired into fuse box with taps for ignition and ac clutch. Noticed temp control did reset once. Fixed by leaving at default and placing temp sensor closer to engine.

Far better than the average Hayden. Really neat how it actually has a temperature burrito and you can easily and digitally get confirmation on your temperature. Why is it the same as any controller mounts well seems to be good Construction and was just really neat. Got it to toss on my sons RX7 to replace it being on a manual switch. No issue so far
