I'll keep it short, (yeah right)! but as far as these pens go I am a hardcore stickler when it comes to these pens and use several different types and brands that I have meticulously calibrated. When I ph my water I use two or three different pens and compare them for consistency and accuracy. After passing my rigorous calibration process I make my decision to keep or return it if it doesn't work perfectly. This pen has a large backlit display and is accurate to .01. Pens accurate to .1 are worthless because of the broad range in the reading. You can't determine it's accuracy. I first dipped this pen in a ph solution of 7.00 and it read 6.89. Not bad for right out of the box. I then calibrated using my very meticulous 3 part solution process of 7.00, 4.00, and 10.01. The pen now reads the solutions to a T. Calibration successful. I use this with other pen when checking p.h. and this pen reads within .01 which is almost perfect. So if said other pen reads 6.27, this pen will read 6.26 to 6.28 which is as close as your ever going to get! I've lost several plants due to stunting and nutrient deficiency because my ph was way off. I can't stress enough how important this is to the health of your plants. I have four other $25-$30 pens and this is my favorite along with one other that is similar. Make sure it has a large backlit display, and is accurate to .01 or in my opinion is a waste of time and money. Use a 3 part solution for calibration. Some pens use different values. All my pens calibrate to 7,4, and 10.01. I only buy ones with these values. Try to use solution not the powder you mix with water, if you can. Keep the pen cap in electrode storage solution even if your pen doesn't have any included. Just cut a small piece of sponge and put it in the bottom of the cap and wet it with solution. You can used distilled water if you don't have any. Buy a 12 dollar calibration solution kit with storage solution. Practice calibrating Al least every two weeks to keep your instruments in check.

They claimed it's factory calibrated, but it is not.It also doesn't properly read the pH buffers that are supplied. The meter hovered at 6.85 pH when dipped in the 7pH buffer, 4.21 when in the 4pH buffer and 9.9pH for the 10pH buffer powder. So not only was this meter NOT factory calibrated, it won't even calibrate with the pH buffer powders.Waste of my time and money. Should have spent $100 on an APERA meter

I have other brands of meters as well as this one however this one has become the go to I have used it for a while now, and have grown comfortable and confident in it I do calibrate it once a month however, it never seems to really be out of calibration. I would definitely recommend one

Fait très bien le job. Protéger la lentille avec morceau coton humide. Elle n' apprécie pas de sécher pendant le stockage.Précision très correct pour un prix dérisoire

I wanted a waterproof PH meter after having two non waterproof cheaper ones (they were pretty accurate as ph goes) but I always seem to accidentally drop them in the water for my hydroponic nutrients. This product almost out of the box read PH correctly I did calibrate, and was off slightly 7.0 it was 6.98 or 7.03...(just example) but nothing that would kill my plants. This meter also functions as a TDS, which I really didn't need. I just did not want to spend $100+ on a meter. I just wanted something functional for my small scale hydroponics/microgreens (when I am growing them). This meter lived up to my expection, so I can definitely recommend it.

Ordered this months ago and Almost returned it because i couldn't get it calibrated right. it didnt want to switch to 7, only 4 and 10. Had to give it a couple more tries while it was submerged in ph 7 fluid and it finally took. I have ordered other ph pens under $20 and they all are a pain, lose calibration very fast, give innacurate readings. This one has stayed true over months, it has surprised me for sure. I go to double check it once in a while and it is still in range

My plants were in bad shape because my cheap ph meter was off and causing me to incorrectly adjust ph. I just received this replacement and my plants are recovering. So far this seems like a well made product and came with calibration support.

I love the all in one aspect. Gives me all I need to know in one well designed and attractive package. Calibration was spot on at unboxing. Plenty of buffer solutions though, 3 packs of each of the three solutions. My one criticism is the protective cap can slide between the slots at the bottom of the device if you’re not careful, possibly resulting in damage to the glass bulb. So be careful!
