This thermometer gave a non accurate temp for a healthy adult (96 degrees). The temp was also taken by another thermometer at the same time with a accurate temp reading (97.3). I tried it several times and got the same inaccurate result. it's cheap junk. Try something else.

Used this thermometer a few times when my son wasn’t feeling well. Temperature reads were consistent when he had fever. Works good and seems to be pretty accurate. Easy to use, affordable decent quality.

Edit: After seeing my initial review, the seller offered to refund my purchase. I accepted, but would have preferred another thermometer. Still, their action gives me confidence in them and I would order this thermometer again…,I take my temp every morning. Display has shown Lo battery since 2nd use. Seller should send another, but it will probably be Lo as well.
