Performed as expected, hook is aggressive, won't slip off string. Accuracy is great, was spot on compared to the scale at the Nationals I shot at.

I compared this to a couple of other scales and it read a couple pounds too high. No biggie, itβs held up ok.

I got this to replace my original scale that broke. This scale is much better quality than my original, seems to measure draw weight very accurately. For the money I would say this performs as good if not better than the top name brand scales.

I have bought cheaper scales and expensive scales. This one comes with no instructions and is set to metric. Fiddling with it I found you turn it on then press the button again to select pounds. My bow was last checked with a Last Chance Archery HS3 and this read similar for the draw weight at 68 lbs and when I did a quarter turn it now reads 70 lbs. So it does alright there but the scale absolutely won't display a hold weight and maintain it. While pulling slightly where I can read it, a number does show but it doesn't retain the hold weight after a full draw and let off. So it half works. For the $13 to $17 price range it isn't bad. I had cheaper models that structurally couldn't withstand my draw weight even though they were in the listed product weight range. The HS3 is over $100 these days and I had a mishap resulting in its destruction. The HS4 is all metal but not made for lefties so I am trying this. Since let off isn't my concern I'll keep it as I work my strength up to 75 lbs draw for its budget price. 1 lost star for lack of instructions, 2 lost stars for lack of functioning correctly.

So after unboxing this thing, I wanted to see how it compares to the scale on my draw boars. This would have just been much faster and convenient had it worked!!! The very bad is on first full draw, it broke at the thinnest point where the battery is inserted. It is goofy to make this out of cheap plastic! Once the top of the handle broke, it sent my bow into a dry fire, exploding it also. So not only did the product fail during the first use, it caused bodily harm, and cost me a bow!! Do yourself a favor and buy the metal one even though it's a bit more expensive! I'm just very glad my kids weren't around when it happened!
