I haven't used it yet but the instructions it comes with are terrible. They don't instruct you on anything,There was a card with a website link for further instuctions which were the same terrible instructions it came with.It doesn't>>tell you what the buttons are forhow to read without contacthow to read with contactALl it shows is graphically how the wheels and such attach, which any idiot can easily figure out.

works like it should without useless filler. came with batteries. i can match conveyor speeds and motor rpms for prototyping. doesnt feel cheap. simple to use. turn on, select what you want to know, press test and make the shaft thingie spin. half the price of the meter i have at work and give more options for measurements.

Das Gerät von TASi ist an sich ein sehr gutes und kompaktes Tachometer, das auch in die Tasche passt. Die gemessenen Werte waren, auch im Vergleich zu meinem teuren Referenzgerät recht genau.Was mir aber überhaupt nicht gefällt: Der Laser bleibt nach Loslassen der Messtaste an. Das ist nicht ganz ungefährlich, weil man den Laser dann versehentlich ins Auge kriegen kann. Daher nur 4 Sterne, obwohl das Gerät sowohl in puncto Build Qualität, als auch bei Kontaktmessung und kontaktloser Lasermessung ansonsten keine Schwächen zeigte.

Liked the fact that it is compact and has both a contact and contactless options and it comes already with different contact applicators and the reflecting stripe to use with the contactless option.It would be great that it included an adapter to extend the reach of the contact heads which would be useful for a safer approach to using it.
