These diatomite shelves are really cool. They need to washed off when you first get them. They come with a scrubber and you do get some loose material off. Then they dry in a flash. They went together fairly easily. I had a little trouble with the screw-on ends as the screw part is separate from the rod and ends so I had to fiddle around a little with two of them to get them started but it worked finally and they are very sturdy and great looking. They fit nicely by the bathroom sink where I can get all my little bottles of essential oils and the like displayed on them.

These are really useful, cute little shelves. I am totally into the diatomatious earth stuff and love having these shelves in my bathroom to hold small things. They are the perfect size to hold my toothpast and face wash as well as extra washcloths. I have my perfume and cotton rounds on it as well.It has a cute 7 line design and just looks fantastic in my bathroom as it fits the color scheme so well. They are functional and just perfect for my use, but I can easily see my self moving them into my kitchen and using them in there as well. These are so worth it!

Let's get the bad part of this out there first. Two legs had the feet already off when it arrived, and the screw that one of them needed was already screwed all the way into the post. This made it very hard to assembly. Luckily I was able to catch the screw with a knifepoint and slowly work it out.Once assembled it looks nice and fits our space exactly. The stones dry, or soak up, moisture very quickly. It's sturdy and doesn't wobble at all.

As expected it is just the shelving alone. Easy enough to assemble with all pieces accounted for. It is sturdy and comes with silicone pads on the bottom of the legs and sits without rocking. Gray and metal material used for it's construction having a nice appearance. I'm not overly familiar with diatomite, the material used for the shelves. It's described as stone, which would explain the gritty, sandpaperish feel.It tends to mark and scratch easily. A bit unusual as it claims to be stone but for some reason I get the slight hint of cork and rubber smell.The grain and color is nice and the designs are clean and accurate. Pretty close being true to size.Overall it has a nice appearance but I'm not that fond of it, especially the way it feels. The light unusual scent makes me a bit wary, but that's just my opinion.

I was a bit hesitant to believe the claims of this shelf drying fast, as I was unfamiliar with the type of material used. But after just minutes after opening it -- I had it assembled and was trying it out on the bathroom counter to see where it was best suited. And before I knew it -- all the jumble of items I seem to collect -- were suddenly organized and looked much better than before. And it really does dry quickly when something is placed on it that is wet! I may get another for the hall bathroom -- it looks better than I had expected!
