A cool concept but does not seal in the smell. Only cool thing is that it has a automatically opening lid but paying that much for something that doesn't work as good as a super cheap Diaper Genie is horrible. Maybe get thicker bags or something to make it function properly

I can't say enough good things about this self-sealing trash can. It has been a lifesaver in managing diaper duty. The sealing feature is exceptional—no more lingering odors in the nursery. It keeps everything contained and fresh, making diaper changes much more pleasant.I did notice that it wastes a few bags, but considering how affordable they are, it’s a minor inconvenience. Overall, this diaper pail is a must-have for any parent. I highly recommend it for maintaining a clean and fresh-smelling home!

This only holds like 8-10 diapers before it needs to be completely changed. Not very functional. Always getting "stuck". Past time to return. Got it as a baby gift. Useless.

It’s a nice little trashcan if you’ve got a newborn that makes a lot of small diapers. Been using it for a month now and when it does seal the bags properly, there is zero smell. It’s very noisy and takes about a whole Minute to seal, drop, and setup the next bag.Not sure if I just got a bad unit but the sensor function does not work to automatically open the lid with.I’ve had issues with it not sealing all the way, or running out an extra bag or two when it reloads instead of using one bag and setting up the next one.Whatever sensor inside that determines when it’s had 5 diapers / bags filled also does not work. Sometimes I will put 1 diaper in and it will read as full. Another time I ended up taking about 8-10 bagged diapers out of the tray and it still wasn’t reading as full.Refilling the bags is annoying. But the refills are much more affordable than other brands that use the donuts.Overall it’s not horrible, better than a diaper genies or similar. But a little frustrating at times since it doesn’t work exactly as advertised.

Individually sealed bags are 100% amazing. I had a diaper baby for three years and have had cats for three decades. Once my kid was out of diapers, we repurposed the D------ G---- and never looked back. Over the years, we tried two other kind of closed diaper disposal systems and even a Litter G--- (husband broke our original) but went back to the ONE TRUE THING, because nothing else stopped the stench and everything else was gross.Well, grosser. Because having to open the thing up and put my hands into a little bucket that holds a not quite sealed festering swamp of poo, cut the poo bag, and tie it by hand is still pretty gross.So I saw this and spent about a month debating whether it was too expensive/overkill - keeping in mind my last forays into alternative disposal options. But also keeping in mind that I am the only one in our family who does this chore and ought to be able to give myself a promotion.99% of this is fantastic, and I am glad I bought it. But I have a question:WHY is the bin not fully sealed?Seriously. The handle is open - there is no plastic under the grab part.WHY????Because, as long as the bag gets sealed, this is amazing. But if there's a little bit that doesn't get 100% closed, the smell puts the eww in pee-yeww.

Wow this thing rocks! So much so I bought a second unit. Bags are cheap and easy to refill, every diaper is sealed into a single smell free package. Hands free and easy to use, we love it. Takes approx 3.5 minutes from reception to sealing. It can hold some wipes and a second diaper if you really need it to.The brand name platinum unit is now collecting dust in the corner- we got tired of the wave of smelly air coming from a days worth of fermenting diapers and having to change the bag every day.

I purchased this because I have an adult son with fecal incontinence. He wears pull-ups and we needed a disposal in the bathroom. This was a great solution for our family.
