If you are a diaper genie parent these will be a life saver! They hold up amazingly, they suck up almost all smell and super easy to replace. As long as i have a diaper genie i will use these

My husband has Parkinson's/Dementia and is incontinent, so I change him 2-3 times daily. The odor can be intense so I purchased a 13 gallon trashcan with lid, 13 gallon trash bags, and then use regular tape to adhere the filter to the inside of the lid. I empty the trashcan once a week on trash pickup day.This is the third week using the first packet and it is still controlling odors well.

Funny story: My pail came with one of these filters and it was doing an GREAT job until the odors of the dirty diapers started escaping and would stink up the room even if the pail was closed. Come to find out, the filter had fallen in a dirty trash bag I changed and disposed of because I noticed it was no longer in its case.Moral of the story is these filters WORK and you WILL notice the difference if there isn’t one placed😭

If you have a diaper genie, I highly recommend getting these and switching them out occasionally it definitely helps with the smell

Coming up on a month using the first insert and it does help reduce the amount of smell. I paired this with non scented diaper plastic bags… if you had this and scented bags… probably would have very little smell of at all coming from the pale. Baby boy is 6 months old. Maybe the smell will change when he starts to eat more “solids”. We shall see

I love my diaper genie, don't get me wrong. But it STINKS!!! I keep it in the laundry room so that it's isolated and the fresh laundry smell attempts to help camouflage the odor, this little charcoal packet is STRUGGLING to take the edge off. I will admit that in the beginning, with those newborn, milk p**ps that smell like bread and butter, it cut those. And believe me, we had our share of BLOW OUTS, but it was no problem. The diaper genie WAS even in the living room!!!NOW, with those solid food, I eat like a grown person, p**p like a grown person diapers.... uh uh... it's not doing the job any more. Alas, I cannot hold that against the tiny packet. I mean, it is only charcoal. For the job it did for all those newborn months, I give it an overall 4 stars. I just wish maybe there was an extra strength or a scented option...?
